In this challenging position you provide broad-based advice and recommendations on policies, standards and practices within their functional area to improve organisational performance and efficiency. Supports informed decision-making by delivering insights, solutions and best practices that align within the context of their functional area and the business unit(s) within their scope. Corporate strategy Help track and report on the progress of TenneT's strategy execution across the yearly and five-year cycles Gather and structure information from across the business and turn it into clear insights for decision-making Support the preparation of analyses, presentations and steering documents and connect with leadership to embed our recommendations into the organisation System strategy Translate external developments — the energy transition, decarbonisation, national and EU energy policy, market and system trends — into strategic insights for TenneT, and help carry TenneT's strategic positions back outwards Help prepare TenneT's input to national and European planning programmes and to system topics such as the position of industry, system integration and offshore grid development You'll do this alongside experienced advisors and, over time, take ownership of your own smaller topics as you grow into the role. We Offer You A permanent contract with a two-month probation period, based on 40 hours per week. A salary in scale 8 with 8% holiday allowance and 6% end of year allowance 43 vacation days per year. Core Responsibilities
Track and report progress on TenneT's corporate strategy, gather and structure business information, and support analyses and decision-making materials. Translate energy transition, policy, market, and system developments into strategic insights, and help prepare TenneT's contributions to national and European planning and energy-system topics.
Requirements
A completed master's degree is required; no technical background or prior work experience is necessary, though an affinity with the energy sector is beneficial. Candidates should have English proficiency at B2 or higher and demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, planning, organization, interpersonal insight, vision, and action orientation; Dutch is preferred but not mandatory.
