Role Details Job title: MEP Package Manager (Electrical / Mechanical) Location: Netherlands, Eemshaven (Site based) Reports to: Client Technical Program Manager (TPM) & Lead Owner Representative (Lead OR) Employment Type Full time (40 hours p/wk) About the Role We are looking for a MEP Package Manager to support the delivery of brownfield projects within active data center environments. The role is approximately 50% Electrical and 50% Mechanical, with Electrical infrastructure as the primary discipline. Experience with low-voltage systems, controls, security systems, access control and CCTV is considered a strong advantage. As part of the Owner's Representative team, you will manage assigned project packages from concept through engineering, construction, commissioning and handover. This role combines project management, technical coordination, contractor management and field leadership. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, communicates openly, identifies risks early and is willing to be present in the field to understand and resolve issues firsthand. Key Responsibilities Manage assigned project packages from initiation through handover. Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities. Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality and risk. Review and challenge engineering solutions from a safety, operational and constructability perspective. Coordinate with contractors, consultants and key stakeholders. Coordinate with Data Center Operations (DC Ops) teams to ensure project activities are aligned with operational requirements, outage constraints and site procedures. Drive issue resolution, change management and package reporting. Support commissioning, turnover and project close-out activities. Typical Activities Pre-Construction Support scope definition and project planning. Review operational constraints, outage requirements and brownfield risks. Participate in constructability reviews, Design Risk Assessments (DRA) and HSE reviews. Engineering & Procurement Coordinate multidisciplinary design activities. Review drawings, specifications and technical submissions. Challenge designs for safety, constructability, maintainability and operability. Manage RFIs, design changes and technical queries. Identify and mitigate design risks. Construction Lead package execution and contractor coordination on site. Monitor progress, quality, safety and schedule performance. Participate in field walks, inspections, toolbox talks and coordination meetings. Support outage planning, tie-ins and brownfield implementation activities. Drive resolution of technical, commercial and execution-related issues. Commissioning & Handover Support commissioning planning and readiness reviews. Coordinate testing, punch-list closure and system turnover activities. Verify completion of as-built documentation, O&M manuals and training requirements. Expected Experience/Qualifications Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience in project delivery, engineering, construction management, owner's representation or package management. Medior to Medior+ level professional. Experienced in managing multidisciplinary MEP projects, contractors and multiple stakeholders. Strong Electrical background with a good understanding of Mechanical systems. Experience in brownfield, industrial, operational or mission-critical environments is preferred. Experience with low-voltage systems, controls, security systems, access control and CCTV is considered an advantage. Data center experience is desirable but not essential. Degree, technical qualification or equivalent practical experience in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline. Fluent in English, both written and verbal. Willing to work 4-5 days per week on site.

Requirements
Requires 5–10 years of relevant project delivery, engineering, construction management, owner’s representation, or package management experience, including multidisciplinary MEP projects and a strong electrical background with understanding of mechanical systems. A relevant engineering or construction qualification or equivalent practical experience, fluent English, and willingness to work 4–5 days per week on site are required; brownfield or mission-critical experience is preferred.
