Job Description

Gravity Gardens | Nijmegen, NL | Full-time Gravity Gardens has developed a dry, chemical-free seed activation technology that helps crops establish faster and become more resilient to stress, such as drought. Following our recent €2.6 million funding round, we are scaling up our research activities at our facility in Nijmegen and are looking for a Research Technician to join our team. THE ROLE As Research Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out our experiments, which focus mainly on the germination and seedling stages. Your tasks will include sowing, counting, measuring, recording data, and supporting the analysis of results. You will also contribute to improving our experimental methods by identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and reliability. This is a hands-on role that requires a high degree of focus and precision. The quality of our research depends on careful, consistent work, and you will play a key part in that. YOUR PROFILE - A bachelor's degree. A background in plant science, biology, or agriculture is an advantage. - Fluency in English, as we work in an international team. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus. - A disciplined, accurate, and professional way of working. WHAT WE OFFER - A gross monthly salary of €2,750. - A full-time position, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 to 17:00. Occasional weekend work may be required for ongoing experiments.
