Job Description

As a (Senior) Project Manager you will be responsible for the delivery of medium to large customer projects at a number of client sites. You will lead projects, manage project teams, manage budget, ensure customer engagement and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders. You will also support executive level expectations by providing internal suggestions to management, based on field experience, as to how potentially improve the Basware Deployment Methodology. You must thrive in working as a team in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of Basware implementation and integration projects ensuring they are completed on time, within scope and budget. Act as the primary customer contact during project execution, building trust and ensuring alignment with client goals. Develop detailed project plans, manage schedules, track milestones, and report progress to internal and external stakeholders. Identify risks early, develop mitigation plans and manage issues to maintain the project health. Monitor project financials including budgets, forecasts, and margins: ensure adherence to the contractual terms. Ensure projects meet internal audit requirements, and compliance standards. Work closely with solution consultants, solution architects, customer support and customer success teams to ensure a seamless handover to operations. Contributes to refining project delivery methodologies, standardized templates, and best practices across the professional services organization. , Basic Qualifications 4+ years’ project management experience delivering projects for external customers, including 2+ years for senior level Proven experience implementing SaaS applications Bachelor or Master´s degree preferred Other Qualifications And Attributes Excellent organisation, time management, and presentation skills Experience presenting at Executive Steering Committee meetings Advance Consultative selling and negotiation skills Experience working in a global matrix organisation with geographically distributed teams is an advantage Having a project management certification, such as PMP or Prince 2, is preferred Procurement and accounts payable experience is desired, but not a must Resourceful and able to find a path forward with minimal guidance whilst working within company processes Self-starter Committed to meeting objectives, results driven Proven ability to deal with ambiguous situations Fluent language skills in English. French and/or German are a plus.

Core Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of customer implementation and integration projects, managing teams, schedules, budgets, risks, contractual obligations, and customer relationships. Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, ensure compliance and operational handover, and contribute to improving project delivery methods and practices.

Requirements

Requires at least four years of project management experience delivering projects for external customers, including at least two years for senior-level candidates, and proven experience implementing SaaS applications. A bachelor's or master's degree and a project management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 are preferred; strong organization, communication, negotiation, and self-direction are expected, with fluent English required.
