Role Overview We are looking for an on-site, dedicated and motivated Responsible Pharmacist (Gevestigd / Beherend Apotheker) to lead our online pharmacy in Amsterdam. The ideal candidate will have experience in pharmacy management or a supervisory role, with a strong understanding of Dutch pharmacy regulations, including the rules for the online sale of medicines. In this role, you will be the pharmacist responsible for the pharmacy's operations, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and compliance with all relevant regulations, and collaborating with a talented team to deliver exceptional pharmaceutical care. Requirements Responsibilities Oversee daily pharmacy operations, including prescription validation, dispensing and safe delivery of medicines to patients Ensure compliance with Dutch pharmacy laws (Geneesmiddelenwet, Opiumwet), online pharmacy requirements, and company policies and standards Verify prescriptions, including those issued through online consultations, and carry out medication surveillance Manage pharmacy inventory, including stock management, cold-chain storage and procurement processes Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff, promoting a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement Provide expert pharmaceutical advice and guidance to patients and healthcare professionals Conduct regular audits and quality assurance checks, and act as the main contact for IGJ inspections Requirements Registered Pharmacist in the Netherlands (BIG registration), registered as openbaar apotheker Strong understanding of Dutch pharmacy regulations and compliance requirements Previous experience in a pharmacy management or supervisory role; online pharmacy experience is a plus Fluent in Dutch and English Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational and multitasking abilities Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and patient care Benefits At SIBIE Ltd, as a global organisation operating across Europe, the US, the UK, and the UAE, we offer visa sponsorship. Core Responsibilities

Oversee the online pharmacy’s daily operations, including prescription validation, dispensing, safe delivery, medication surveillance, inventory, and compliance with Dutch laws and online pharmacy requirements. Supervise and mentor staff, advise patients and healthcare professionals, and conduct quality audits while serving as the main contact for inspections by the Dutch Health and Youth Care Inspectorate (IGJ).

Requirements

Applicants must be registered as a pharmacist in the Netherlands, including BIG registration and registration as a public pharmacist, and have a strong understanding of Dutch pharmacy regulations. Previous pharmacy management or supervisory experience is required; online pharmacy experience is an advantage, along with fluency in Dutch and English, strong communication and organizational abilities, and a commitment to patient care.
