As a Senior Structural Engineer, you play an active role in driving project innovation and further strengthening our Engineering capabilities. In This Role, You Will Be Responsible For defining and safeguarding design assumptions for complex mechanical projects; performing FEM modelling and structural calculations for heavy (offshore) systems; specifying requirements for purchased components; optimising designs with a focus on material efficiency, dimensions and weight, functional lifetime and maintenance; supervising and guiding the work of fellow structural engineers. You Have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; 5–7 years’ experience as a Senior Structural Engineer within heavy mechanical engineering, preferably in the offshore or maritime sector; a strong affinity with complex mechanical systems; the ability to adapt quickly to new requirements and to prioritise effectively. Some Practical Things We Need You To Have an EU passport/valid work permit for The Netherlands; a good command of the English language verbally and in writing. Depending on your experience and knowledge, the salary ranges from € 3,700 to € 5,300 gross per month based on a 40-hour working week, with scope for further progression within the scale. A minimum of 29 holiday days (based on full-time employment) with the option to purchase an additional 10 days. Participation in a collective pension scheme in line with the Wtp. Requirements

Requires a bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5–7 years of experience as a Senior Structural Engineer in heavy mechanical engineering; offshore or maritime experience is preferred. Candidates should have an affinity for complex mechanical systems, strong communication and teamwork skills, adaptability, and a valid EU passport or work permit for the Netherlands, as well as good spoken and written English.
