Identify and solve difficult and sometimes complex issues/problems without precedent and modify, enhance and/or adapt established processes and work methods. Working with limited supervision, interacting with stakeholders and act as important interface with other areas within the function or unit. May play an active role in mentoring less experienced colleagues. Key Responsibilities Coordinates/manages EHS issues and activities at site level to ensure that legal /company EHS standards are met and provides input to the continuous improvement of EHS-related processes. Contributes to a healthy, inclusive and safe working environment. Contributes to that the department complies with Arla Foods' standards, policies as well as applicable law and Health, Safety & Food safety procedures and mindset. Contributes to quality/food safety in own area of responsibility, and quality/food safety mindset. Coordinates and drive EHS activities across departments. Assists and drive the development of site specific policies and objectives. Supports EHS management systems. Secures training of relevant staff in EHS. Coordinates and drive maintenance of site EHS improvement plans. Liaises with local authorities and participates in external audits. Collects, monitors, evaluates and provides relevant reports to site and business group management as applicable. Ensures continuous improvement. Contributes to the digital transformation, work with data driven decision making and promote a digital mindset within the team. Contributes to process confirmation to support the APS transformation. Acts as gate keeper on new knowledge within EHS. Coordinates site-level EHS activities to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company standards, while supporting a safe and inclusive workplace. Develops and maintains site EHS plans and systems, coordinates training and audits, reports on performance, and drives continuous improvement and digital ways of working.

Requirements

Requires well-developed knowledge in a relevant discipline, gained through 10–15 years of experience with additional training or through formal education combined with 5–6 years of relevant experience. The role calls for independent problem-solving, stakeholder coordination, and the ability to support and mentor colleagues.
