Job Description

About the Company Our client is a global biopharmaceutical organization developing innovative cell therapies for cancer treatment. The QC Microbiology team works in a GMP environment supporting the quality and safety of advanced therapies. Role Description As a QC Microbiology Analyst, you will perform microbiological testing and environmental monitoring in a controlled GMP environment. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and contribute to reliable laboratory operations and quality control. Key Responsibilities Perform environmental monitoring of cleanrooms Perform microbiological assays, including sterility testing and plate reading Enter, review, and trend microbiological data Maintain laboratory equipment and work areas Follow GMP and quality control procedures Support QC Microbiology projects and improvement activities Requirements MLO level 3 or Bachelor's degree in Microbiology 1+ years of microbiology laboratory or environmental monitoring experience Experience with air and surface monitoring Experience with aseptic techniques and cleanroom operations Knowledge of GMP and quality control processes Good English communication skills; Dutch is not required Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Willing and able to work an 18-week rotating shift schedule

Core Responsibilities

Perform environmental monitoring in cleanrooms and microbiological assays, including sterility testing and plate reading. Record, review, and trend microbiological data; maintain laboratory equipment and work areas; and follow GMP procedures while supporting QC projects and improvement activities.

Requirements

Requires an MLO level 3 qualification or a bachelor's degree in microbiology, plus at least one year of microbiology laboratory or environmental monitoring experience. Candidates should have experience with air and surface monitoring, aseptic techniques, cleanroom operations, and GMP quality control, and be willing to work an 18-week rotating shift schedule.
