At Mizuno Corporation EMEA we're looking for an EMEA Footwear Product Coordinator (Football, Futsal, Rugby, Golf) to join our team. About the job In this role you contribute to growth and profitability of EMEA Performance (Football, Futsal, Rugby, Golf) business. As a member of the global team, assist in creating Mizuno brand products & strategies that appeals to a worldwide consumer. Key tasks and responsibilities: Understand consumer tendencies, requirements, competitor situations and directions. Analyse Mizuno EMEA’s sales, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Alignment meetings with headquarters (HQ) in Japan to discuss, plan and implement global strategies and directions. Create and develop Global/EMEA footwear product strategy. Working with headquarters (HQ) and create ideal products (technical function and aesthetics) and the product stories for both global and EMEA distributions. Assist footwear product manager to implement global product strategies / directions for growth and profitability into the EMEA business. Provide insight in creation of business plans with the strategies / directions and proactively propose sales, and marketing strategies / directions in the plans. Present the business plans to EMEA product manager and also to our clients. Present the products and the product stories to our clients attractively. Take responsibility to ensure targeted gross margins by paying careful attention to product costs, mold charges, landed costs, wholesale and retail prices. Creating reports and presentations to headquarters (HQ) and other regions to explain European market situation. Create and update product line up plan spreadsheets regularly. Keep all relevant departments informed when any changes happen. Manage wear test processes and provide feedback to headquarters (HQ). Manage sample order processes. Collect orders from regions and place the orders to headquarters (HQ), monitor sample orders schedules regularly and keep clients updated on sample deliveries. Work closely with EMEA Marketing, Sales, Export, Supply Chain and Apparel members to keep all parties updated with footwear related topics. Assist in the organization of the EMEA sales conference and key country meetings Manage team events that take place during these meetings. About you Educated to Graduate standard. Ability to act his/her own initiative. Knowledge of markets. Ability to analyse sales and forecast figures. Ability to present confidently product category and business presentations. Comprehensive understanding of global and European business. Advance level IT Skills (Illustrator, Photoshop, Powerpoint, Excel). Understanding of FW production and lead times. Relevant experience within the footwear and sporting goods industry. Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills Understanding of footwear construction and material execution Full consciousness to meet deadlines. Skill in thinking logically. Requirements
The role requires graduate-level education, relevant footwear or sporting goods industry experience, knowledge of markets, footwear construction, materials, production, and lead times, and the ability to analyze sales and forecasts. Candidates should be proactive, organized, confident presenters with advanced Illustrator, Photoshop, PowerPoint, and Excel skills, strong communication abilities, and fluent English.
