Be part of our story! π We are currently looking for a Senior Procurement Manager β Europe Your impact on our team: You will lead the development and execution of our third-party fresh-produce procurement model for Europe, starting with avocados. This strategic role will ensure a reliable, competitive and sustainable year-round supply through strong relationships with growers and suppliers across key origins. You will own the procurement strategy end to end, connecting origin opportunities, commercial demand, quality standards, contracts and sourcing governance. As the function develops, the role may expand to additional categories within our portfolio. What will you do in this role? Lead the end-to-end sourcing strategy for third-party avocados for the European market, ensuring reliable year-round supply across key origins. Build and manage strategic relationships with growers, packhouses and suppliers; lead negotiations on price, volumes, contracts and allocations. Monitor crop conditions, seasonality, quality, market dynamics and supply risks to make informed procurement decisions. Establish procurement procedures, controls and supplier-management practices, including contracts, traceability and quality requirements. Work closely with Commercial, Quality, Logistics, Sustainability and Finance teams, while providing functional guidance to the Latin America procurement counterpart. Travel regularly to origin to strengthen supplier relationships and identify new sourcing opportunities. What we are looking for: What are we looking for? 15+ years of experience in fresh-produce procurement or sourcing, including senior responsibility in third-party avocado procurement. Established network and strong reputation among avocado growers, packhouses and suppliers. Deep knowledge of avocado seasonality, quality parameters, origin dynamics and supply-chain risks. Strong commercial, negotiation and contract-management skills, with experience working across international markets. Fluent Spanish and English; additional European languages are a plus. Requirements
Requires 15 or more years of fresh-produce procurement or sourcing experience, including senior responsibility for third-party avocado procurement, plus an established network among avocado growers, packhouses, and suppliers. Candidates should have deep knowledge of avocado seasonality, quality, origin dynamics, and supply-chain risks; strong commercial, negotiation, and contract-management skills; fluency in Spanish and English; and availability for regular international travel.
