Job Description
About Whitebrinjal I’m building Whitebrinjal, an enterprise high tech market network focused on the journey from technology discovery to enterprise adoption. I’m looking for a very unusual co-founder. Someone who has already built markets, entered new geographies, solved chicken and egg problems, built trusted networks and created momentum where there was none. But there is another important requirement. You should think like a GTM engineer. Most of the market we are entering is technology driven. The way we identify accounts, understand people, discover signals, create relevance, reach decision makers, build relationships and create market pull should be technology enabled, intelligent and continuously improving. I’m looking for someone who can combine something difficult to manufacture: A trusted global network with something difficult to execute well: A modern technology enabled GTM system. This is not traditional marketing. It is not traditional sales. It is not PR. It is not simply networking. It is founder level market building combined with GTM engineering. Equity Only There is no initial cash compensation. You will receive meaningful founder equity in return for genuine founder level ownership, time, judgement and execution. This is not a consulting engagement, advisory position or fractional role. Your First 6–12 Months The work starts before the product is ready. Your first 6–12 months will be dedicated to building the market around Whitebrinjal before launch: the relationships, trusted network, market intelligence, ecosystem access, partnerships, demand signals and GTM systems that we can activate when the product is ready. I want you to work on the hardest questions: Who needs to be in the network? Why will they join? Why will they stay? How do we solve the chicken and egg problem? Which markets do we enter first? Who matters in those markets? How do we create the first meaningful network density? What signals tell us who is ready? How do we reach them intelligently? What can technology automate? What requires human trust? How do we turn one relationship into ten? How do we create market pull before spending heavily on acquisition? What does the launch need to look like? This becomes a living operating system for GTM, not a strategy presentation sitting on a shelf. GTM Engineering You should be comfortable combining: Market intelligence Account intelligence Signal detection Data and research AI assisted research Automated workflows Personalised outreach Multi channel activation Relationship mapping Experimentation Conversion analysis Feedback loops The objective is simple: Find the right people. Understand them deeply. Reach them intelligently. Create relevance. Build trust. Learn quickly. Repeat what works. Technology should make the founder and the network more powerful, not more robotic. You Should Already Have Done This You have solved difficult chicken and egg problems before. You know how to enter a market where nobody knows you. You know how to get the first important person to say yes. Then the second. Then create enough momentum that the market starts pulling the next people in. You have been a proven speaker at conferences, conventions and industry events. You have travelled extensively across global markets. You understand how relationships and business actually work across countries and ecosystems. And you have spent years building something far more valuable than a contact list: Trust. Founders who take your call. CEOs who know you. Enterprise leaders who trust you. Technology companies that listen. Agencies you can activate. Investors you can reach. Industry leaders who will make an introduction because you asked. Your Network Is an Asset You have built and can personally activate a substantial network across agencies, technology companies, founders, enterprise leaders, investors, media organisations, industry bodies and ecosystem players. But the number itself is not what matters. Activation matters. Can you call ten people and create five meaningful conversations? Can you enter a new country and know exactly who to call? Can you get the right buyer and technology company into the same room? Can you bring both sides of a network into motion? Can you create initial liquidity where neither side has a reason to come first? Can you turn trusted relationships into market participation? I care about the relationships you can personally activate, not the number sitting in your CRM. What You Will BuildMarket Entry Determine which industries, companies and geographies Whitebrinjal enters first and build the path into them. Chicken and Egg Framework Develop the practical mechanism for creating initial liquidity between the different sides of the network. Network Architecture Define who needs to be inside Whitebrinjal, how they connect and what value each participant receives. GTM Engine Build the technology enabled system for identifying, researching, prioritising, reaching, engaging and converting the right market participants. Ecosystem Build relationships across technology companies, enterprises, agencies, founders, investors, advisors, media and industry institutions. Distribution Build channels and relationships through which Whitebrinjal can reach the right people without depending purely on paid acquisition. Category Help define what Whitebrinjal becomes in the minds of the market and why this category needs to exist. Market Presence Build credibility and visibility before launch through relationships, speaking, events, communities, partnerships and strategic participation. Founder Network Create relationships that can materially accelerate the company. Market Intelligence Stay close to the market and continuously understand where demand, influence and opportunity are forming. By the Time We Launch Whitebrinjal should not be entering the market cold. We should already have: A clear category A defined ICP A market entry framework A working GTM engine A meaningful relationship network Early ecosystem participation Strategic partnerships Market validation Demand signals A launch system A credible market position The market should already have signals that we exist. We should know: Who matters. Who believes. Who will participate. Who will introduce us. Who will buy. Who will supply. Who will amplify. Who will invest. And most importantly, why the market should care. I want you to spend the pre launch period making Whitebrinjal impossible to introduce as “just another startup.” The Investor Test Your work should also help make Whitebrinjal stand out in the market and become compelling to serious investors. Not through a better investor deck alone. Through evidence. Market relationships. Early ecosystem participation. Strategic partnerships. Category recognition. Market validation. Distribution. Demand signals. Founder credibility. A clear launch thesis. The goal is that when we eventually sit across the table from investors, we are not saying: “Here is our idea.” We are able to show: Here is the market we entered. Here is who is already involved. Here is what the market is telling us. Here is what we have activated. Here is what is already moving. Here is why this network can become difficult to replicate. I Care About What You Have Actually Done Tell me about: The markets you entered. The ecosystems you built. The chicken and egg problems you solved. The conferences and conventions where you have spoken. The countries where you have operated. The networks you created. The relationships you personally activated. The introductions that created business. The GTM systems you engineered. The companies or initiatives where your reputation materially changed the outcome. I care much less about your title than the doors you can actually open and what happens after they open. Why Whitebrinjal Whitebrinjal is being built around the journey from: Technology Discovery → Evaluation → Decision → Adoption The long term architecture is: Market Network → Workflow → Intelligence → Enterprise Platform The product matters. The technology matters. But ultimately: The network is the moat. We want to build that network using the smartest combination of relationships, market intelligence, technology, AI, data and human judgement. That is why this needs a very different kind of founder. The Founder Opportunity Equity only. No initial cash compensation. Meaningful founder equity. Real ownership. Real responsibility. Whitebrinjal is currently pre MVP, pre revenue and pre institutional funding. I’m looking for someone willing to put their time, reputation, relationships, market experience and GTM thinking behind building this from the ground up. Not someone looking for a job. Not someone looking to advise from the sidelines. A co-founder who wants to build the market, engineer the GTM system and make the company impossible to ignore. Someone with: A reputation people trust. A network people answer. A voice people listen to. A history of solving chicken and egg problems. The ability to engineer modern GTM. And the ability to turn all of it into movement.
Core Responsibilities
Build Whitebrinjal’s pre-launch market presence by defining target markets, network architecture, category positioning, partnerships, and strategies to create initial network liquidity. Develop a technology-enabled GTM system for identifying, researching, prioritizing, engaging, and converting market participants, while generating market validation, demand signals, and investor-relevant evidence.
Requirements
The ideal co-founder has a proven record of entering new markets, solving chicken-and-egg challenges, building trusted global networks, and personally activating relationships across enterprise, technology, agency, investor, and industry ecosystems. They should also have extensive international market experience, public speaking experience, and the ability to engineer modern, data- and technology-enabled GTM systems; the role requires founder-level ownership and time in exchange for equity, with no initial cash compensation.
