Job Description

Location: Oldenzaal Apply now What you can expect As a Legal Counsel, you will be part of the Legal & Compliance Department and play an important role in supporting ROSEN Europe B.V. and its stakeholders. This position is primarily focused on contract management and commercial legal support within the oil & gas industry, with a strong emphasis on reviewing, negotiating, drafting, and managing complex customer and supplier agreements. You will be responsible for helping the business manage legal and compliance risks while ensuring that contractual arrangements align with ROSEN's commercial objectives and legal requirements. In addition, you will support the organization in conducting business in accordance with applicable national and international laws and regulations. Responsible for: Providing legal support to ROSEN Europe B.V and its stakeholder, in regards to various complex topics and areas of law and compliance (e.g. contract law, corporate law); Providing legal and compliance advice on a wide range of issues; Negotiating, drafting, reviewing independently agreements and other legal related documents; Keeping abreast of legislative changes that may affect ROSEN Europe B.V. and/or its potential new businesses; Performing pre-litigation work to minimize risks and maximize legal rights and liaise with external counsel; Providing training to respective units on substantive legal topics; Providing support to other legal and compliance team members. What you will bring A completed Law degree; 1-3 years of post-qualification legal experience; Good understanding of contract law, commercial law, and compliance; The ability to independently review, negotiate, and manage commercial contracts; Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken; Experience within the oil and gas, technology and/or engineering industry; Living within a maximum driving distance of one hour from our Oldenzaal location. The provision of a certificate of good conduct (VOG) is part of the procedure. ROSEN Europe covers the costs of applying for a certificate on your behalf. Please note: This position is primarily focused on contract management and commercial agreements within the oil & gas industry and is offered as a fixed-term contract for a duration of one year. Core Responsibilities

Provide legal and compliance support to ROSEN Europe B.V., with a focus on reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and managing complex customer and supplier agreements. Advise on legal risks and regulatory changes, support pre-litigation work and external counsel coordination, and deliver training to relevant teams.

Requirements

Applicants must have a completed law degree, 1–3 years of post-qualification legal experience, and a good understanding of contract law, commercial law, and compliance. They must be able to manage commercial contracts independently, have fluent written and spoken English, have experience in oil and gas, technology, or engineering, and live within a one-hour drive of Oldenzaal.
