And the working hours are great too: you’ll usually be finished around 10:00 PM, so you can enjoy your evening. What will you be doing? As a Restaurant Manager at Happy Italy, you are ultimately responsible for the restaurant and lead both the kitchen and front-of-house teams. Together with the Assistant Restaurant Manager and Supervisors, you’ll lead and motivate the team, keep the energy high, and make sure we consistently deliver the right quality and excellent guest experience. And there’s more! You love being on the floor, but you’re also comfortable taking care of the operational side of the restaurant. From staff management, administration and scheduling to ordering, HACCP procedures and recruitment — you’ve got it covered. You keep a close eye on the restaurant’s KPIs and, together with your management team, take action wherever necessary. You’ll also receive guidance and support from your Area Manager. Who are you? You have experience leading and motivating a team and feel comfortable taking responsibility in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Planning and organizing daily operations comes naturally to you, and you know how to make the right decisions when things get busy. You have a sharp eye for detail and continuously monitor the quality and service our guests have come to expect from Happy Italy. With your strong communication skills and approachable personality, you create happy guests and a positive team spirit. Core Responsibilities

Lead the restaurant, including its kitchen and front-of-house teams, and work with assistant managers and supervisors to motivate staff and maintain service quality and a strong guest experience. Oversee daily operations, including staffing, administration, scheduling, ordering, HACCP procedures, recruitment, and KPI monitoring, taking action as needed.

Requirements

Candidates should have experience leading a large team and be comfortable taking responsibility in a fast-paced hospitality environment. They should bring strong operational, planning, communication, and problem-solving skills, an energetic and hospitable attitude, and a good command of Dutch or English.
