About Validating Validating helps founders find out if their idea is worth building before they spend months and money on it. Instead of asking friends or an AI, founders test their ideas with real people. That's where you come in. The role As a Validator & Product Researcher, you give honest, structured feedback on new product and startup ideas before they launch. Each study takes around 5 minutes on your phone, and you choose which ones to take. Your answers directly shape what gets built, what gets changed, and what gets dropped. Founders aren't looking for compliments. "I wouldn't use this, and here's why" is exactly the kind of answer they need. What you'll do Receive study invitations in the Validating app, matched to your interests and background Review a short description of a product idea and answer a structured set of questions: would you use it, what would you pay, what's missing, what would stop you Give clear, honest, thoughtful answers. Quality matters more than speed How it works Every offer shows the exact amount up front, before you accept You have 6 hours to accept an offer, so you can fit studies around your day You're paid exactly the amount shown, with no hidden deductions The more complete your profile, the more studies you're matched to Who we're looking for People with genuine opinions about the products they use: food, fitness, wellness, personal finance, apps and tech, fashion and beauty, travel, home and pets Comfortable answering in English Honest and specific, even when the honest answer is "no" No research experience needed. Core Responsibilities

Review product and startup ideas through short studies in the Validating app, answering structured questions about usability, willingness to pay, missing features, and potential barriers. Provide clear, honest, and thoughtful feedback to help founders decide what to build, change, or abandon.

Requirements

Applicants should have genuine opinions about products they use and be comfortable answering in English. They should provide honest, specific feedback; no research experience is required.
