THE TEAM

As part of our Finance & Purchasing team, you will play an important role in supporting the efficient flow of goods and supplies throughout the hotel. You will be part of a collaborative team dedicated to maintaining operational excellence and supporting the seamless delivery of exceptional guest experiences.

YOUR ROLE

As a Store & Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for managing receiving operations, inventory control, and stock management processes to ensure goods are received, stored, and distributed accurately and efficiently. Through your attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to quality, you will help maintain inventory accuracy, support purchasing operations, and ensure compliance with company standards. Your contribution will be essential in supporting the hotel's operational departments while safeguarding the integrity of stock and inventory processes.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE

  • Manage receiving activities, including the inspection, verification, storage, and distribution of goods and supplies.
  • Match delivery documentation with purchase orders to ensure accuracy in quantities, pricing, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock checks, audits, and reconciliation processes.
  • Monitor inventory levels, stock rotation, and expiration dates to optimize stock availability and minimize waste.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to resolve delivery discrepancies and ensure goods are received in a timely manner.
  • Support compliance with inventory, storage, security, and food safety standards across all storerooms and receiving areas.

COULD THIS BE YOU?

  • You have experience within stores, receiving, inventory control, accounting, purchasing, or a similar operational environment.
  • You possess strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail when managing stock, records, and documentation.
  • You are comfortable working with purchasing, inventory, and financial systems, with experience using Birchstreet, Opera, or SunSystems considered an advantage.
  • You communicate effectively and build positive working relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • You are resourceful, proactive, and able to work independently while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy solving problems while maintaining high operational standards.

OUR BENEFITS

As part of our team, you’ll enjoy a thoughtfully designed benefits package that supports your wellbeing, professional growth, and life beyond work. This includes flexible working hours, paid time off, complimentary room nights, learning and development opportunities, global career opportunities, and industry-leading paid parental leave supporting eligible associates across all paths to parenthood.

We’re a community that encourages associates to be themselves, not fit into a fixed culture, and this philosophy shines through in our commitments to reflect and honor the history, culture and geography of our destinations. We’re not only committed to building and nurturing genuine, long-lasting relationships but to transforming them – and our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) strategy helps put these principles into practice.
