YOUR ROLE

As an Engineering Supervisor, you will provide hands-on leadership and technical expertise to ensure all building systems, equipment, and facilities operate efficiently and effectively. You will oversee daily maintenance activities, support the development of engineering associates, and collaborate closely with departments across the hotel to maintain a safe, comfortable, and seamless environment. Your contribution will be essential in protecting the asset, maintaining operational excellence, and supporting the overall guest experience.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE

  • Supervise and support the daily activities of the Engineering team to ensure efficient operations.
  • Coordinate and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities across the property.
  • Ensure the effective operation and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and life safety systems.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests, technical issues, and emergency situations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment, identifying and resolving potential concerns proactively.
  • Train, coach, and support engineering associates to strengthen technical capability and team performance.

COULD THIS BE YOU?

  • You have experience within engineering, maintenance, or facilities operations, with exposure to leading or guiding teams.
  • You possess strong technical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and preventive maintenance programs.
  • You are a natural problem-solver with the ability to troubleshoot technical challenges effectively.
  • You communicate confidently, lead by example, and enjoy supporting the development of others.
  • You can effectively prioritize competing responsibilities while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • You bring a hands-on approach to your work and are committed to maintaining exceptional standards within a luxury hospitality environment.

OUR BENEFITS

As part of our team, you’ll enjoy a thoughtfully designed benefits package that supports your wellbeing, professional growth, and life beyond work. This includes flexible working hours, paid time off, complimentary room nights, learning and development opportunities, global career opportunities, and industry-leading paid parental leave supporting eligible associates across all paths to parenthood.

OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU

At Rosewood Hotel Group, your voice is heard – and valued. We’re a community that encourages associates to be themselves, not fit into a fixed culture, and this philosophy shines through in our commitments to reflect and honor the history, culture and geography of our destinations. We’re not only committed to building and nurturing genuine, long-lasting relationships but to transforming them – and our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) strategy helps put these principles into practice.
