Discover the Role

Are you an experienced CDD professional with a passion for client risk assessment, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement? We are looking for a Senior CDD Officer to join our growing Business Excellence Center.

In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert in client risk assessment, supporting the first-line CDD process and driving high standards of quality across the organization. You will provide expert guidance to internal teams, contribute to the development of policies and procedures, deliver training, and help foster a strong culture of risk awareness and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance and advice to Business Excellence Center and client teams on client risk assessments and risk mitigation measures.
  • Act as a trusted subject matter expert for complex CDD and client risk-related matters.
  • Review and challenge client risk assessments to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance procedures, templates, guidance materials, and knowledge resources related to client risk assessment.
  • Design and deliver training programs to educate and upskill stakeholders across the organization.
  • Promote a strong risk-aware culture and support continuous improvement initiatives within the CDD framework.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline processes and identify opportunities for greater efficiency.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and support the implementation of changes impacting client due diligence and risk assessment activities.
  • Share knowledge and best practices to strengthen the capabilities of colleagues and teams across the business.

Key Requirements
  • Master's degree in Law, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in CDD, KYC, AML, or client risk assessment within the financial services industry.
  • Experience working for a Corporate Services Provider, Trust Company, or similar regulated environment.
  • Strong understanding of applicable regulations and compliance frameworks, including AML, FATCA, CRS, WTT, WWFT, and AIFMD.
  • Excellent knowledge of client risk assessment methodologies and risk-based approaches.
  • Ability to understand and assess complex legal structures, ownership structures, and international tax frameworks.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and advise at different levels of the organization.
  • Experience developing training materials, procedures, and guidance documentation.
  • Advanced analytical skills with strong attention to detail and sound judgment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience working with databases and compliance systems.
  • Professional fluency in English; additional languages are considered an advantage.
