Job Description

About Us

QuantWare is building the world’s most powerful quantum processors to solve humanity's greatest challenges. We do this with our unique VIO™ technology, the only QPU architecture that breaks the hardware barriers that have held quantum computing back, unlocking the path to MegaQubit quantum processors.

With VIO, we are paving the way for the hyper-scale quantum computers that will change the world. And delivering on that vision demands people who don’t shy away from tackling the hardest challenges of our time. That’s where you come in!

We are looking for a highly educated, analytically strong professional with a genuine passion for Finance who is energized by variety, problem-solving and getting things done and is ready to jump into anything and everything. This is a broad role within the Finance team, supporting a range of finance improvement, growth, compliance and strategic projects. You will work closely with Finance leadership and collaborate across the organization on topics ranging from process improvement and AI to grants, contracts and international expansion.
The role is ideal for someone who enjoys learning quickly, taking ownership of new topics and moving comfortably between analysis and execution.

What you’ll be doing

  • Finance Projects & Improvement

    • Support a variety of finance improvement projects across processes, controls, reporting and systems.

    • Identify opportunities to simplify, automate and improve the way Finance works and reports, including through AI and new technology.

    • Take ownership of cross-functional projects and turn ideas into practical improvements.

  • Finance Leadership Support

    • Support Finance leadership on strategic, analytical and operational priorities.

    • Prepare analyses, reporting and decision-ready materials.

    • Pick up new projects and business questions as priorities evolve.

  • Grants & Funding

    • Identify relevant grants, subsidies and funding opportunities and support the application process.

    • Coordinate applications, financial models, documentation and input from internal and external stakeholders.

    • Manage grant administration, reporting requirements and supporting documentation.

  • Legal, Compliance & Growth

    • Support Finance and legal counsel on commercial, compliance and regulatory topics.

    • Help streamline contract processes, including workflows, templates, approvals and contract administration.

    • Support new markets, partnerships and initiatives by coordinating relevant finance, tax, legal and compliance requirements.

  • Export & Regulatory Support

    • Support the organization on export controls, sanctions and other requirements related to international activities.

    • Help assess requirements for new customers, markets, products and transactions.

    • Coordinate external specialist support and help translate advice into clear internal actions.

Your Profile

  • Strong academic background and a genuine interest in Finance, business and how companies operate.

  • Analytical, structured and intellectually curious, with the energy to work on many different types of projects.

  • A proactive self-starter who enjoys improving things, learning new topics and taking ownership from analysis through execution.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in a finance role within a high-growth technology company.

  • Experience in a deeptech environment (e.g. semiconductors, photonics, quantum technologies, advanced materials, robotics, AI infrastructure, or other R&D-intensive businesses) is highly desirable.

  • Experience with Capex heavy companies & manufacturing companies (COGS)

  • Experience with ERP systems and leading or participating in ERP implementation and finance transformation projects is a plus.

  • Experience with business intelligence tools is an advantage.

Don't tick every box? Apply anyway! Research shows women often self-select out if they don't meet every requirement. Here's our take: nobody ticks every box. This is a description of our ideal candidate, not a filter. If most resonates and you're keen to learn the gaps, apply. We hire for trajectory, not perfection.

What We Offer:

At QuantWare, you’ll be part of a high-performing team of world-class experts in an ambitious, fast-moving environment. From day one, you’ll have the trust, tools, and support to do your best work. Here’s what you can expect:

Pension that’s built to last - A generous and future-proof pension plan that includes partner and dependent coverage.

Flexibility built on trust - We focus on outcomes. Work flexibly, in a hybrid setup, with an open vacation policy that lets you manage your time

Personal growth - We invest in your L&D, with a budget available to each team member, dependent on their individual ambitions, development needs, and performance

A connected team - We make space to celebrate wins together, with team events, offsites, and spontaneous moments that bring us closer

Diversity & Inclusion at QuantWare

We’re an ambitious company, not only for our goals but also to become an even more diverse and inclusive team. We know great candidates don't always follow a straight path, and we value diverse experience, perspectives, and ways of thinking. We know this helps us make better decisions, drives more innovation, and strengthens our culture.

As part of our recruitment process, candidates may be required to undergo pre-employment screening.
