About the role
As a part of the Front-End technology team, you are responsible for process transfers for our own owned technologies to from external Foundries and contribute towards process qualification and volume ramp-up. You are responsible for the performance and improvements of Front-End processes owned by Nexperia BG ICS. You will monitor the processes, perform DOE, analyze the data, and take actions to solve process issues. You also initiate improvement action to bring quality, yield, and cycle time to a benchmark level.
What you will do
- Process transfers for our own owned technologies to external Foundries, closely work together with the foundry to secure the process runs at same performance at the foundry.
- Conduct process capability analysis, failure mode analysis and Statistical Process Control (SPC) for process quality control
- Review process and product yield, perform Design of Experiments (DOE) for optimization and implement yield improvement measures
- Drive process excursion control by providing root cause analysis and collaborate improvement actions to solve out-of-Spec and low yield issues.
- Collaborate with product engineer on product sensitivity related low yield, tailoring product design and test sensitivities to process parameters, and plan to do product specific process tunning
- Lead cross functional team on continuous process improvement projects.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in applied science, Physics, Chemistry, Electronics or other relevant technical area.
- 5-10 years of relevant Process integration/Yield Engineering working experience in semiconductor manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of semiconductor process, process optimization, FMEA, SPC, DOE (Design of Experiments), and process control techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to lead 8D team for corrective actions

- Team player and proactive working attitude
- Experience with data analysis tools
Preferred Skills
- Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma certification.
- Experience with 0.35u CMOS process nodes, and advanced node technologies and wafer fabrication.
- Knowledge of semiconductor equipment and automation systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Project management experience.
