Key responsibilities
- Coordinates/manages EHS issues and activities at site level to ensure that legal /company EHS standards are met and provides input to the continuous improvement of EHS-related processes.
- Contributes to a healthy, inclusive and safe working environment.
- Contributes to that the department complies with Arla Foods' standards, policies as well as applicable law and Health, Safety & Food safety procedures and mindset.
- Contributes to quality/food safety in own area of responsibility, and quality/food safety mindset.
- Coordinates and drive EHS activities across departments.
- Assists and drive the development of site specific policies and objectives.
- Supports EHS management systems.
- Secures training of relevant staff in EHS.
- Coordinates and drive maintenance of site EHS improvement plans.
- Liaises with local authorities and participates in external audits.
- Collects, monitors, evaluates and provides relevant reports to site and business group management as applicable.
- Ensures continuous improvement.
- Contributes to the digital transformation, work with data driven decision making and promote a digital mindset within the team.
- Contributes to process confirmation to support the APS transformation.
- Acts as gate keeper on new knowledge within EHS.
Educational background
- Well-developed skills and knowledge within a specific discipline acquired either through significant years of experience (10-15 years + special training) or combination of formal education and 5-6 years of relevant work experience

Requirements
Requires significant experience in a specific discipline, typically 5-6 years with formal education or 10-15 years of relevant experience. Candidates must possess strong knowledge of EHS standards, food safety, and the ability to drive site-specific policies.
