We support customers in industrial, environmental, infrastructure, and construction projects with pumps, tanks, filtration systems, piping, and related equipment. To support our continued growth, we are looking for a motivated and hands-on Yard & Operations Technician to join our team in Roosendaal. Tasks About the Role As a Yard & Operations Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring our equipment is prepared, maintained, organized, and ready for deployment to customer projects. You will play a vital role in supporting daily operational activities, maintaining equipment quality, and ensuring excellent service delivery. This position combines yard operations, equipment maintenance, logistics support, and occasional field assistance, offering a varied and rewarding working environment. What You'll Do Equipment Preparation & Maintenance Inspect, clean, test, and prepare pumps, tanks, hoses, filtration systems, and associated equipment. Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs. Identify and report equipment defects and maintenance requirements. Ensure equipment meets safety and quality standards before deployment. Maintain accurate inspection and equipment records. Yard & Warehouse Operations Receive, inspect, and process returned equipment. Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient yard. Load and unload trucks and equipment. Manage storage locations and inventory accuracy. Assist with stock counts and inventory management activities. Logistics & Operations Support Prepare equipment for customer deliveries and project mobilizations. Support transportation and loading activities. Assist operational teams with project execution when required. Ensure equipment availability and readiness to meet customer needs. Contribute to operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives. Safety & Quality Follow all Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) procedures. Conduct pre-use inspections of equipment and tools. Wear and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE). Report hazards, near misses, and incidents immediately. Promote a strong safety culture and safe working practices. Requirements What We're Looking For Essential Experience in a warehouse, logistics, construction, industrial, technical, or operational environment. Practical mindset and strong hands-on skills. Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to work with equipment and tools. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn. Valid driving licence. Ability to communicate in Dutch and/or English. Preferred Experience with pumps, tanks, hoses, filtration equipment, or rental equipment. Technical or mechanical background. VCA certification or equivalent safety training. Experience working in an industrial or construction-related environment. Valid driving licence Benefits What We Offer Competitive salary package. Core Responsibilities
Inspect, clean, test, maintain, and prepare pumps, tanks, hoses, filtration systems, and related equipment for customer projects, while recording inspections and reporting defects. Organize yard and warehouse operations, support inventory and logistics activities, assist with project mobilizations, and follow HSEQ procedures.
Requirements
Candidates need experience in a warehouse, logistics, construction, industrial, technical, or operational environment, along with practical hands-on skills, basic mechanical aptitude, organization, and attention to detail. A valid driving licence and the ability to communicate in Dutch and/or English are required; equipment rental experience, a technical background, and VCA or equivalent safety training are preferred.
