The Opportunity We’re looking for a Brand Manager to join our Benelux Marketing team in Alphen aan den Rijn. You’ll bring our brands to life across the region through integrated campaigns, media, PR, social content and retailer activity. Working closely with Sales and regional and global teams, you’ll turn brand strategy into local plans that build consumer demand and support growth. What You’ll Be Doing Plan and lead integrated marketing campaigns that build awareness, create consumer demand and support commercial objectives. Develop and execute annual and seasonal brand plans in line with EMEA and global brand strategy. Manage media planning and activation, working with agencies and internal stakeholders. Lead local PR, influencer and social media activity to strengthen brand presence and consumer engagement. Support content development and localisation across digital, social, retail and other consumer touchpoints. Bring market insights, consumer understanding and competitor intelligence into product line planning and brand development. Partner closely with Sales on trade marketing plans, retailer activations, presentations and customer-specific initiatives. Support key toy retailers and Sales teams with product launches, promotional activity and selling materials. Oversee brand presentation across the showroom, trade fairs and customer events. Manage assigned marketing budgets, agencies and suppliers. Track brand and campaign performance and use insights to optimise plans. Collaborate with regional and global teams to strengthen brand positioning and drive growth. What We’re Looking For 2–3 years’ experience in Brand Management, ideally within toys, consumer goods, FMCG or a similar consumer-focused environment. Good understanding of media planning, PR and social media management. A creative mindset with hands-on experience in content development and campaign execution. Experience managing marketing budgets, agencies and external partners. Strong analytical skills and the ability to make commercially driven decisions. Experience working with key toy retailers and supporting Sales teams would be a strong advantage. Good digital marketing knowledge. Excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills. Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills. Fluent Dutch and advanced English, both written and spoken. Proactive, hands-on and comfortable working in a fast-paced international environment. Ready to Apply? Requirements
Requires 2–3 years of brand management experience, ideally in toys, consumer goods, FMCG, or a similar consumer-focused industry, along with knowledge of media planning, PR, social media, digital marketing, and campaign execution. Candidates should have strong analytical, communication, organisational, and stakeholder-management skills, be fluent in Dutch with advanced English, and be comfortable in a fast-paced international environment.
