As Accounting Manager BNL, you are responsible for managing the accounting team in the Netherlands and Belgium, consisting of (Senior) Accountants and flex colleagues. Together you will ensure a correctly organized accounting, optimized accounts receivable, payable and asset administration and coordination of topics for the various legal entities in the Netherlands and Belgium. You will mainly work from our location in Eindhoven and regularly travel to our other locations in Puurs (BE) and Heerenveen. You will report to the CFO of CWS Cleanrooms (DE). Your tasks as Accounting Manager BNL within CWS are: You will lead and supervise the accounting team within BNL. You are responsible for the month-end and year-end closing, as well as the reports to the central organization, taking into account the deadlines set. You keep an eye on all accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and fixed assets. Monitor and maintain balance sheet and profit and loss accounts. Oversee working capital movements in A/R, A/P, and inventory. Cash planning, bank management, payment approvals, cash pooling. Supervising the treasury function in collaboration with the corporate treasury (including the use of treasury management tool). Working closely with Financial Planning & Business Control. Develop, implement and improve accounting policies, procedures and internal controls. Initiatives to improve support systems and automate accounting workflows. Ensure compliance with legal, IFRS, and tax regulations. Coordinating and supporting internal and external financial audits. Collaborate with operations and support departments to optimize financial operations and achieve organizational goals. You have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent professional qualification preferred. You have at least 7 years of accounting experience, 3 of which are in a managerial role Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. Experienced with ERP/accounting software (preferably MS Dynamics, Netsuite, SAP) and advanced Excel skills; Experienced within an international and/or mixed BE/NL business environment is an absolute plus; Strong operational knowledge of accounting (BE and NL GAAP; IFRS is a plus); Experienced in building and developing teams and processes adapting continuous improvement methods with a lean mindset Experienced in cash flow, working capital and target management You are a strong communicator, speak and write Dutch and English fluently. Core Responsibilities

Lead the accounting team across the Netherlands and Belgium, overseeing accounting operations, month- and year-end close, reporting, working capital, cash planning, and treasury activities. Improve accounting processes and controls, ensure compliance with applicable regulations, coordinate audits, and collaborate with corporate teams, the shared service center, and business departments.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is requested, with a CPA or equivalent qualification preferred. Candidates should have at least seven years of accounting experience, including three years in management, strong knowledge of accounting and regulatory requirements, ERP and advanced Excel experience, and fluent Dutch and English.
