Act Digital is looking for a Senior Application Engineer/Administrator to support production and non-production application environments. TASKS : Install, configure and administer applications in production and non-production environments. Monitor applications, tune performance and continuously improve service efficiency and quality. Provide application support and maintenance, including incident, change, release and problem resolution. Write and validate application procedure manuals, including troubleshooting guides and backup and restore plans. Automate administrative procedures for recurring system administration activities and provide installation and technical support documentation where required. Contribute to the structuring, maintenance and development of the technical knowledge base supporting ICT Operations activities. Report on application availability, performance, capacity and overall usage where required. REQUIREMENTS : Mandatory experience and knowledge: Working knowledge of English at B2 level or higher. Experience working as an IT professional in mid/large IT infrastructure environments, including the deployment, support and maintenance of applications. Experience working as an IT professional in application administration. Experience with microservices, container orchestration and container-based stacks such as Docker or Kubernetes. Experience administering and supporting Elasticsearch. Experience working with enterprise Microsoft or Linux server solutions. Good knowledge of configuration management concepts and technologies, such as Puppet, Ansible and Chocolatey. Good knowledge of shell and/or PowerShell scripting. Good knowledge of ITIL, including incident, change and release management processes. *Desirable experience and knowledge: Good knowledge of DevOps. Good knowledge of relational databases, such as MS SQL and PostgreSQL Good knowledge of Kong API Gateway. Good knowledge of Public or Hybrid Cloud services and solutions, such as Azure or AWS. Certifications in the technologies mentioned above. (!) Core Responsibilities

Requirements

Candidates need professional experience in application administration and support within mid- to large-scale IT environments, including experience with containers, Elasticsearch, Microsoft or Linux servers, configuration management, scripting, and ITIL processes. English proficiency at B2 level or higher is required; DevOps, databases, Kong API Gateway, cloud services, and relevant certifications are desirable, and candidates must be EU citizens.
