Job Description Role: CAD Designer – Offshore Lifting Operations Work location: Utrecht, the Netherlands – three office days per week Start: ASAP Duration: Approximately three months Contract: Freelance assignment, minimum 32 hours per week, ideally 40 Language: English Focus: Inventor 3D modelling and AutoCAD 2D drawings for jack-up vessel positioning and offshore wind turbine de-installation Does your background include offshore lifting and jack-up vessels? This assignment combines 3D modelling with practical drawing deliverables. Using Inventor and AutoCAD, you will keep the project model current and prepare drawings covering vessel positioning, lifting plans, deck layouts and the de-installation sequence. What You’ll Do Maintain and update the 3D project model in Inventor with the latest project information. Prepare 2D jack-up vessel positioning drawings using information from the model. Produce offshore lifting plan drawings for wind turbine de-installation. Prepare drawings showing the de-installation sequence. Create jack-up vessel deck layout drawings. What You Bring Previous experience with offshore lifting operations and jack-up vessels. Proficiency in Inventor and AutoCAD. Experience maintaining 3D models and using model information to prepare 2D technical drawings. The ability to translate project information into clear, accurate drawings for client issue.
