About The Job QA Engineer (Temp. for 1 year) Haps – Fulltime For our state-of-the-art factory at Haps we are looking for a QA Engineer Powder Production. As a QA Engineer, you are the quality partner for the production lines at Haps. You drive food safety, quality compliance, and continuous improvement by working closely with operators, Process Leads, and Equipment Owners. Through a strong shop floor presence, you help teams deliver safe, high-quality products every day. You will report into the Quality & Technology Unit Manager. Your responsibilities Advise and support production teams on quality and food safety topics. Ensure compliance with Danone QFS standards, FSSC22000, FDA, and other applicable requirements. Identify quality losses and drive corrective and preventive actions. Coach and train teams to strengthen quality capabilities and culture. Support risk assessments, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives. Represent Quality within the IWS Quality Pillar. Your tasks Monitor and improve food safety and quality performance. Analyse quality data, KPIs, deviations, and customer complaints to identify improvement opportunities. Lead or support root cause analyses and CAPA implementation. Support internal and external audits and follow up on actions. Develop, review, and implement quality procedures, SOPs, and QFS programs. Support food safety plans, cleaning validation, and quality system activities. Provide quality support for new products, packaging, equipment, and process changes. About You Based on the scope and description above, the role requires 1-3 years of experience in Manufacturing Industry, preferably in Food/FMCG with a Bachelor / master degree (or from experience) in (food) technology, quality or likewise. Experience in quality engineering and food safety standards & behavior is a must. Experience in Project Management is a plus Experience in Powder production is a plus Excellent English verbal and written communication skills and Dutch is a plus. Core Responsibilities
Partner with production teams to maintain food safety and quality compliance, monitor performance, analyze quality data, and address deviations through root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions. Support audits, quality systems, food safety plans, product and process changes, and continuous improvement while coaching teams and representing Quality in the IWS Quality Pillar.
Requirements
Requires 1–3 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in food or FMCG, and a bachelor's or master's degree in food technology, quality, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Quality engineering and food safety standards experience are essential; project management and powder production experience are advantages, and excellent written and spoken English is required, with Dutch an advantage.
