Job Description

Introduction The Process & Business Transformation team at ASML supports the continuous improvement and harmonization of business processes across multiple domains. As digital transformation and AI become increasingly important, high-quality process information and standardized business assets are key to enabling future innovations. In this internship, you will help improve process transparency, support transformation initiatives, and contribute to AI readiness across the organization. This internship offers a unique opportunity to combine data analysis, process improvement, and organizational change in an international high-tech environment. Your assignment As an intern, you will support initiatives focused on process standardization, data quality, and digital transformation. You will work with stakeholders across different business domains to collect insights, structure information, and contribute to business improvement projects. This internship provides hands-on experience in process excellence and AI-driven transformation. Your main responsibilities will be: Collect, structure, and analyze process information across business domains. Support process standardization and heatmapping activities. Maintain project administration, reporting, action tracking, and documentation. Prepare management presentations, workshops, and business analyses. Identify opportunities to improve process consistency and quality. Support documentation efforts that contribute to AI readiness and process automation. Collaborate with stakeholders to support transformation and harmonization initiatives. This is a bachelor’s or master’s internship for minimum 6 months, minimum 4 days per week (3 days on-site). The start date of this internship is as of February 2027. Your profile To be suitable for the internship, you: Are pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Business Process Management, Change Management, Educational Sciences, Learning & Development, or a related field. Have strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with data. Are analytical and able to translate information into clear insights. Communicate effectively with different stakeholders and enjoy working collaboratively. Are organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple activities simultaneously. Have an interest in business process improvement, digital transformation, and AI applications. This internship is ideal if you enjoy working at the intersection of people, processes, and technology. During this internship, you will contribute to meaningful improvement initiatives while developing practical experience in change management, process excellence, and AI readiness. Other requirements you need to meet: You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship, and you are at least 18 years old at the start of the internship; If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement); You attach your cover letter with a clear motivation on why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular; You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship.
