Together with our other jack-of-all-trades (a.k.a., Technical Service Employees), you’ll ensure that all warehouses run smoothly. The most exciting challenge right now is maintaining our conveyor systems, which handle about 200,000 packages every week. This involves troubleshooting malfunctions that can be mechanical, electrical, electronic, or software-related. That’s why we’re looking for that all-around person. If you feel that one of these tasks falls outside your scope, that’s certainly not a problem. One of your colleagues can help you with it—provided you’re interested, of course. You will: Perform preventive maintenance on various machines, including conveyor systems, strapping machines, sorting systems, labeling systems, and vacuum lifting equipment; Troubleshoot both electrical and mechanical issues; Act as a key contributor to the optimization and continuous improvement of existing machinery; Install and commission new machines and equipment when purchased; Develop maintenance schedules together with fellow technicians, determining when parts need to be inspected or replaced; Play a crucial role in ensuring operational continuity and helping us deliver customer orders on time; We offer: 25 vacation days, increasing with time of service, with the option to purchase 10 additional days; 8% holiday allowance; Non-contributory pension; €0,23 net travel allowance and a net remote work allowance of €2,45; Laptop and phone provided by vidaXL; A positive work environment. 8 out of 10 colleagues say we’re a good place to work and feel they are part of the team; We ask: Preferably a completed MBO diploma in a technical field such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics; 3–5 years of work experience in a technical service environment; Experience with logistics (sorting) systems and/or conveyor technology is a major plus; Good knowledge of Dutch; English is a plus Actively contribute ideas for improving, optimizing, and expanding the logistics process; We expect you to be eager to learn and able to work independently. Core Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues across warehouse machinery, including conveyor, sorting, strapping, labeling, and vacuum lifting systems. Help optimize existing equipment, install and commission new machinery, and develop maintenance schedules to support operational continuity and timely order delivery.

Requirements

A technical MBO diploma in a field such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or mechatronics is preferred, along with 3–5 years of experience in a technical service environment. Experience with logistics sorting systems or conveyor technology is a plus; good Dutch, a willingness to learn, independent working, and contributing improvement ideas are expected, while English is an advantage.
