Job Description
About SolaX Power SolaX Power is a leading global provider of photovoltaic inverters and energy storage solutions. With operations in over 80 countries, we are committed to delivering innovative, reliable, and sustainable energy solutions worldwide. To support the rapid growth of our European after-sales operations and improve repair turnaround time, we are expanding our Repair & Refurbishment team in the Netherlands. Position Overview As a Repair & Refurbishment Engineer, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and refurbishing returned photovoltaic inverters and battery storage products while providing technical support for after-sales service activities. You will work closely with the Service, Quality, R&D, and Product teams to continuously improve product reliability and customer satisfaction. This role is ideal for engineers with strong electronics troubleshooting skills who enjoy hands-on technical work in a fast-paced renewable energy environment. I. Position Overview The Quality Control Intern plays a vital role in warehouse operations by serving as the final checkpoint before goods are shipped to customers. The primary objective is to prevent shipping errors and ensure that every order is complete, accurate, and properly prepared. This position offers hands-on experience in high-standard quality assurance processes within a real logistics environment. II. Key Responsibilities 1. Order Verification Before Packing (Picking Stage) Check each picked order against the picking list, confirming product SKU, quantity, and serial numbers (where applicable). Use a handheld PDA to confirm the quantity of each SKU in the WMS system. Identify and report discrepancies such as incorrect, missing, or extra items, and assist in correcting them before order approval. Inspect product condition for visible damages, dents, deformations, or severely torn packaging, and ensure defective items are replaced prior to shipment. 2. Pallet Quantity and Dimension Check Compare the actual prepared shipment with estimated data, paying special attention to total pallet count and pallet dimensions. Ensure that products are distributed across pallets in line with the estimated shipment plan. Report any significant differences between estimated and actual shipment data and coordinate corrections before loading. 3. Photo Documentation for Accessories and Small Items Take clear photographs of accessories and small items prior to shipment, showing SKU, item quantity, and number of full boxes. For sealed original boxes containing multiple smaller units, confirm and document the standard quantity per box. Ensure photo records are sufficient to verify that the prepared quantity matches the customer order. 4. Final Inspection of Fully Prepared Shipments Conduct a final check of each completed pallet before it is released for loading, ensuring: Proper wrapping and securing of the pallet; All required labels, shipping documents, and customer papers are attached and clearly visible; Pallet stability and safety for transport; No damage occurred during the preparation process. If any issues are found, report immediately and coordinate rework, repacking, or relabeling until standards are met. 5. Final Photo Documentation After confirming that the order is complete, correctly labeled, and properly packed, take a minimum of three photos per pallet: One photo of the pallet labels and attached documentation (must be clearly readable); One photo of the front side of the pallet; One photo of the opposite side of the pallet. The side photos should clearly show the pallet contents, approximate quantity, overall condition, and packing/securing method. These photos serve as final evidence of shipment condition and content before departure. III. Strong attention to detail, high sense of responsibility, and ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistent accuracy. Comfortable working in a warehouse environment; basic computer skills required. Experience with WMS or PDA systems is a plus.
