Job description: The Operations Support role is responsible for providing day-to-day operational support to ensure business processes run efficiently and effectively. The role works across multiple operational functions, identifies opportunities for continuous improvement, manages key business applications, and provides cross-functional cover for other Operations team members during periods of absence. Key Responsibilities: Operations Support Provide operational support across the business to ensure the smooth execution of daily activities. Assist with order processing, reporting, inventory, customer service, and other operational functions as required. Resolve operational issues promptly and escalate where appropriate. Support operational projects and business initiatives. Maintain accurate records and documentation. Process Improvement Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, quality, and customer service. Document, review, and update business processes and standard operating procedures. Work with stakeholders to implement process improvements and monitor outcomes. Promote continuous improvement initiatives across the Operations team. Applications Management Act as a key user for business applications, including ERP and other operational systems. Maintain application data integrity and support users with system-related queries. Assist with system configuration, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and implementation of new functionality. Liaise with vendors and IT support to resolve application issues. Develop and maintain user documentation and training materials. Operational Cover Provide cover for Operations team members during planned and unplanned absences. Maintain sufficient cross-training to perform critical operational tasks across multiple functions. Ensure continuity of service and minimise disruption during staff leave. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management, Business Administration or related field combined with relevant work experience. Strong organisational and administrative skills. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Experience using ERP or business management systems (such as Odoo). Ability to identify and implement process improvements. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to prioritise work and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Personal Attributes Proactive and self-motivated. Core Responsibilities

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management, Business Administration, or a related field, combined with relevant work experience, is requested. Candidates should have strong organisational, analytical, communication, and prioritisation skills; experience with ERP or business management systems; proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; and the ability to improve processes and maintain accuracy.
