Working closely with Production, Quality and Site Leadership teams, you'll help deliver a safe, efficient and continuously improving manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Engineering Leadership Lead, coach and develop the site engineering team. Build a culture of accountability, safety and continuous improvement. Drive engagement, capability development and performance. Operational Excellence Improve equipment reliability, availability and manufacturing efficiency. Implement and sustain Lean Manufacturing and TPM methodologies. Ensure engineering activities support production and business objectives. Projects & CAPEX Manage engineering and facilities projects from concept through completion. Lead equipment installation, commissioning and validation activities. Develop and manage CAPEX budgets and project plans. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve quality, productivity and cost performance. Lead process optimisation and defect reduction initiatives. Support the introduction of new technology, equipment and manufacturing processes. What We're Looking For Proven engineering leadership experience within a Pharmaceuticals manufacturing environment. Experience leading engineering teams, projects and budgets. Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM and continuous improvement. Experience working within GMP. Demonstrated success delivering capital investment projects. Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline. Fluent in Dutch and English Why Join Dechra? Core Responsibilities
Lead and develop the site engineering team while improving equipment reliability, manufacturing efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement. Manage engineering and facilities projects, including capital budgets, equipment installation, commissioning, validation, and the introduction of new technologies and processes.
Requirements
Requires proven engineering leadership experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, including experience leading teams, projects, and budgets, delivering capital projects, and working within GMP. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline, strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and TPM, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and fluency in Dutch and English.
