Job Description

Job title: Data Scientist VN: 3183 Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Location: remote in Europe About the role: We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our Planning & Analytics team and help drive our AI and predictive analytics agenda. In this role, you will turn business challenges into data-driven solutions. You will evaluate and prioritise AI and predictive analytics use cases, explore and validate data, develop models, and quantify their potential business impact. Working closely with business stakeholders, IT/data teams and AI implementation experts, you will help take solutions from initial idea through to implementation and measurable business outcomes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who combines strong technical data science expertise with commercial thinking and the ability to translate complex analysis into clear business recommendations. Tasks in detail: Evaluate AI and predictive analytics use cases based on business impact, feasibility and data readiness. Conduct exploratory data analysis and assess data quality and availability across enterprise systems. Develop, train and validate predictive and statistical models, including forecasting, pricing, pipeline, win-rate and productivity models. Translate business requirements into practical analytical and AI solutions. Partner with stakeholders across Pricing, GTM, Sales Compensation, Commercial Analytics, IT and data teams. Communicate findings, recommendations, assumptions and trade-offs clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Define success metrics and measure the business impact of implemented solutions. Support the continuous improvement and refinement of models and analytical solutions. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics or another quantitative discipline. Approximately 4–7 years of experience in Data Science or Advanced Analytics, ideally within commercial, pricing or sales-related environments. Strong Python or R and SQL skills, with experience using common machine-learning and statistical libraries. Strong knowledge of statistics, forecasting, regression, classification and predictive modelling. Experience translating analytical work into measurable business impact. Strong data visualisation and presentation skills; Power BI or similar experience is beneficial. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders. Experience with B2B, manufacturing or industrial technology environments is an advantage. Familiarity with CRM, CPQ, ERP, cloud ML platforms, generative AI/LLMs or MLOps would be beneficial. Core Responsibilities

Requirements

Requires a bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative discipline and approximately 4–7 years of experience in data science or advanced analytics. Candidates should have strong Python or R and SQL skills, statistical and predictive modeling expertise, and the ability to communicate analysis and deliver measurable business impact; commercial, pricing, or sales experience is preferred.
