Job Title: Freelance Social Video Editor (Dutch Speaking) Location: 100% Remote (Must be based in the Netherlands) Contract Type: Freelance / Project-Based Start Date: Immediate About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and agile Freelance Video Editor to help us transform raw, user-generated-style footage into polished, brand-aligned content for LinkedIn. In this role, you will be the creative force turning on-the-ground updates into engaging social-first narratives. You will work with footage captured on camera phones by our local market teams, requiring you to have a strong eye for pacing, storytelling, and professional social media formatting. We move quickly, so this role is perfect for a self-starter who thrives with minimal direction and can confidently take a brief from raw assets to final delivery. Key Responsibilities Transform Raw Assets: Take unpolished, camera-phone footage filmed by local market teams and edit it into concise, high-impact video content tailored specifically for LinkedIn. Work Independently: Execute quick turnarounds with minimal direction, relying on your expertise in social video trends and brand alignment. Leverage Technology: Utilise your knowledge of modern editing software, templates, and AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance video quality. Maintain Brand Standards: Ensure all deliverables are cohesive, professional, and aligned with our organization’s tone and visual identity. Requirements Language & Location: Must be a proficient Dutch speaker and currently based in the Netherlands. Social-First Experience: Proven track record of editing social-first video content for brands or organizations, particularly for LinkedIn. Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in industry-standard video editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut), as well as modern AI video tools and templates. Agility: Demonstrated ability to work fast and creatively problem-solve when given limited raw materials and minimal guidance. Project Scope Immediate Phase: 1 video project is currently fully filmed and ready for immediate editing. Future Pipeline: 6 additional videos (yet to be filmed) will need to be edited by the end of the year. Awarding of this subsequent batch is directly contingent on the successful delivery and quality of the first video.
