Factory Finance & Control Manager
(39 hours per week)
As Factory Finance & Control Manager you have the following responsibilities:
In this pivotal role, you act as the financial steward of our Almere factory and as a trusted Co-Pilot to the Factory Manager and Factory Leadership Team. You provide clear financial insight, strong governance and forward-looking analysis to support both daily operations and long-term decisions.
- Lead the factory business planning process, budgeting, forecasting and simulations in close partnership with the Factory Management Team;
- Deliver accurate and timely reporting, analyse factory variances and conversion costs, and translate the findings into clear, actionable insights;
- Identify and drive cost improvement opportunities, validate savings and support continuous improvement and NCE initiatives;
- Lead financial evaluations for strategic decisions and capital investments, including CAPEX reviews and post-investment evaluations;
- Ensure strong internal controls and compliance, including SOD and ICS processes, and coordinate internal and external audits;
- Coach and develop the factory finance team but also coach entire factory team as co-pilot, strengthen financial awareness among non-finance stakeholders.
As Factory Finance & Control Manager, you report to the Almere Factory Manager, lead a small finance team and work closely with the Factory Leadership Team and colleagues across Supply Chain, Procurement and HR.
What are we looking for in our Factory Finance & Control Manager?
You combine solid finance expertise with a hands-on, collaborative leadership style. You are able to challenge constructively, create clarity from complex information and build trusted relationships across the organisation.
- A degree in Business, Finance, Accountancy or a related field;
- 3 to 5 years of relevant Accounting or Finance experience, including areas such as costing, accounts payable, budgeting or forecasting;
- Experience in a factory or supply chain environment; experience in FMCG and working in SAP is a strong advantage;
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn financial data into practical business recommendations;
- Hands-on experience in SAP environments and confidence working with Microsoft Office and financial systems;
- Fluency in English, speaking Dutch is big advantage, together with strong communication, leadership and collaboration skills.

- A full-time position (39 hours per week);
- The salary for this position ranges between €5.900,- and €7.300,- based on a full-time contract, depending on experience, skills and qualifications;
- Bonus 8%; Holiday allowance 8% and 13th month;
