This position is aligned within the Core Job Engineer IV and salary group 7. For this position we offer an annual salary of 74956,80€.

 

Tasks

  • Requirement specification of intelligent industrial sensorics with focus functions and interfaces for wind turbines & BESS
  • Concept and feasibility studies as well as assessment of advanced COTS sensorics
  • Sensor system multi-domain integration into controller environment, in particular modeling and sensoric software functions
  • Ownership: Development of models incl. application relevant dynamics, communication and state machines in Matlab/Simulink/Simscape & System Composer
  • Verification and validation of sensor models & system functions as well as new features on HiL and system test benches
  • Cross-functional product ownership and lateral leadership of development teams with internal and external partners
     

Qualifications

  • Master´s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent
  • Profound knowledge with industrial intelligent sensor systems covering both hardware and software functions
  • Requirements engineering, test specifications, development according V-model including verification & validation
  • Proficiency in model-based development using Matlab/Simulink & SimScape, ideally including System Composer
  • Strongly pronounced system thinking & keen perception on system interfaces. Product Ownership experience required
  • Lateral leadership skillset & decision making power as well as proven product ownership experience in Modelling or SW Engineering
  • Distinct background in managing local and international stakeholders with proven track record
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills in English
