Location: Bali, Indonesia Compensation: Unpaid Internship (with potential for full-time transition) WHAT YOU'LL DO You'll help grow our portfolio companies: finding new opportunities, building partnerships, and turning connections into deals that move the business forward. This is hands-on business work. You'll research markets, reach out to potential partners, support deal flow, and help close the opportunities that drive growth. WHO WE ARE Our group has spent thirty years building companies across New York, London, and Tokyo. Today, our teams operate from a 4,000 sqm campus in Canggu, Bali. Across the group, we have raised and deployed more than $150M and operate portfolio companies across energy, bioproduction, and AI infrastructure. Depending on team needs, current projects, and your interests, you may work across: Zero-X — Thermochemical conversion and distributed energy, with 200+ systems live across 11 countries. Seraph Group — Decentralized bioproduction combining AI, robotics, and synthetic biology on one platform. Gemino AI — The AI infrastructure layer supporting systems and workflows across the group. YOUR WORK Your business development work may include: Researching markets, industries, and potential partners Building and maintaining relationships with clients and partners Supporting deal flow from initial contact through to closing Preparing pitch decks, proposals, and business cases Analyzing competitors and identifying growth opportunities Supporting fundraising, investor relations, and strategic initiatives Working with leadership on business strategy and execution The focus is not on academic exercises. You will work on deals connected to real companies, real markets, and real growth targets. WHO YOU ARE We're looking for candidates who: Have completed or are close to completing a university degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or a related field Have strong communication, research, and analytical skills Have experience through university projects, internships, startup involvement, or other practical business work Can work independently, learn quickly, and build relationships Are comfortable with ambiguity and fast-moving environments Are able to work fully on-site in Bali, Indonesia for 4-6 months This internship can also be completed as part of a university internship requirement. We don't expect you to already know our full product range, but you should have strong business instincts and be ready to contribute. WHAT WE PROVIDE 4-6 month internship in Bali, Indonesia 25-hour work week: 11 AM to 5 PM On-campus rooms available at competitive rates Daily lunch included Strong interns can move into a full-time role across the group after the internship IMPORTANT This is an unpaid internship. The position is fully on-site in Bali, Indonesia. There is no remote or hybrid option.

Core Responsibilities

Research markets and potential partners, build business relationships, and support deals from initial contact through closing. Prepare pitches, proposals, and business cases while contributing to competitor analysis, fundraising, investor relations, and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

Candidates should have completed or be close to completing a university degree in business, economics, finance, marketing, or a related field, and have practical business experience through projects, internships, or startup involvement. Strong communication, research, and analytical skills are expected, along with independence, adaptability, relationship-building ability, and availability to work on-site in Bali for 4–6 months.
