Are you passionate about optimizing business processes through smart use of ERP systems? At N-Sea, we are looking for an IFS Application Manager who will play a key role in optimizing and supporting the use of our IFS ERP system across the organisation. In this role, you act as the link between business needs and system capabilities, ensuring that the system supports operational efficiency and continuous improvement. As an IFS Application Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining, configuring, and improving the IFS environment, while supporting users and driving enhancements in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external vendors. You will contribute directly to the reliability, usability, and further development of our ERP landscape. Key Responsibilities: Support and maintain the IFS ERP system within the organisation; Configure and optimise system functionality to support business processes; Translate requirements from key users into functional solutions; Ensure availability, performance, and integrity of the applications; Manage license configurations and application authorisations in collaboration with the Technical Application Manager; Coordinate implementation of new functionalities with users and external vendors; Test, guide, and implement system changes and new releases; Create and maintain functional documentation, procedures, and work instructions; Provide support through service desk activities and ensure proper follow-up of incidents; Support and promote the use of Power BI within the organisation; Advise and lead the development of Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions; Support improvement projects within both the IFS application and the wider business; Advise on and initiate company-wide improvements and IFS-based solutions; Support the development of policies and procedures related to IFS and application usage; Communicate with users regarding system updates, maintenance, and incidents; Lead and coordinate functional specialists from IT partners where required. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in an IT-related field; Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar IT application management role, or 10+ years in IT support and functional troubleshooting; Experience with IFS Applications; Working knowledge of service desk processes and tooling; Interest in developments and trends within IT and ERP systems; Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English. Core Responsibilities
Maintain, configure, and improve the IFS ERP environment, translating business requirements into functional solutions and supporting users, incidents, system changes, and releases. Promote Power BI reporting and lead application and business improvement initiatives in coordination with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and functional specialists.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree, preferably in an IT-related field, is preferred, along with experience using IFS Applications and familiarity with service desk processes and tools. Candidates need at least five years in a similar IT application management role or more than ten years in IT support and functional troubleshooting, as well as excellent Dutch and English communication skills.
