Stephanie Vermeulen HR, +316 – 06-29693193 / [email protected] Controlling Employee (Fixed Assets & Master Data) 24-32 hours per week, Hybrid in Venlo (NL) What You'll Be Doing As a Controlling Employee, you play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial administration. You are responsible for fixed asset accounting, investment administration, master data management, SAP controls, and various month-end and year-end closing activities. Working closely with finance colleagues and stakeholders across the organization, you help ensure compliance, efficient processes, and reliable financial reporting. You’ll Be Responsible For Fixed Assets & Investment Administration Process asset-related requests, including acquisitions, transfers, disposals, and cost center changes. Maintain and analyze fixed asset data in SAP. Prepare fixed asset reports, investment overviews, and commitment reports. Perform balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset controls. Support fiscal year closing and opening activities within Asset Accounting. Coordinate investment-related insurance requests and commitment carry-forwards. Financial Closing & Reporting Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes. Prepare and process journal entries. Review financial postings and resolve discrepancies. Monitor SAP interfaces and journal entry processing. Master Data Management Create and maintain customer and vendor master data. Process change requests and ensure data quality and compliance. Create and maintain WBS elements and project structures. Manage authorization and role requests within SAP and related systems. Perform data quality checks and resolve business process errors. SAP & Proces Support Support and maintain SAP financial processes and master data structures. Monitor IDocs, workflows, interfaces, and system errors. Maintain exchange rates and system control tables. Support workflow tools such as e-Ordering and x-flow. Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes and controls. Compliance & Internal Controls Execute SOx controls and compliance checks. Monitor segregation of duties and authorization controls. Support internal and external audit activities. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and governance requirements. Vocational degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Several years of experience in finance operations, accounting, or financial administration. Strong knowledge of financial processes and month-end closing activities. Experience with Fixed Assets and investment accounting. Experience working with SAP (FI, FI-AA, Master Data). Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Comfortable working with large datasets and financial reporting. Proactive, structured, and able to manage multiple priorities. Core Responsibilities

Manage fixed asset and investment accounting, financial master data, SAP controls, and monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities. Maintain accurate financial records and reporting, support audits and compliance controls, and improve finance processes in collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.

Requirements

A vocational degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field and several years of experience in finance operations, accounting, or financial administration are sought. Candidates should have knowledge of financial processes and closing activities, fixed asset and investment accounting experience, SAP FI/FI-AA and master data experience, strong analytical and organizational skills, and fluency in English; Dutch is a plus.
