Job Description

A Snapshot of Your Day Join us at the Gemini offshore wind farm as the Deputy Site Manager, where you will play a crucial role in supporting our offshore service operations in the Netherlands. Imagine coordinating daily offshore activities and logistics from a Service Operation Vessel (SOV) on a 14-day on/off rotation, ensuring high operational availability and safety standards. You will work closely with the Site Manager, managing resource planning and scheduling technicians to maintain seamless operations. Your leadership will foster a collaborative team environment, allowing you to make a significant impact in a demanding offshore setting. How You’ll Make An Impact Coordinate daily offshore service activities, logistics, and vessel movements to ensure smooth operations from the SOV. Support the Site Manager in resource planning, technician scheduling, and managing shift handovers for operational continuity. Serve as the primary point of contact for operational matters and team coordination in the Site Manager’s absence. Enforce strict offshore safety regulations and environmental standards, promoting a zero-harm policy across all site operations. Lead safety briefings and incident investigations, continuously enhancing the site safety culture and team dynamics. What You Bring A Bachelor’s degree, HBO degree, or equivalent professional experience in a relevant technical, marine, or business discipline. Proven experience in a team lead, coordinator, or deputy manager role within a high-risk offshore environment, showcasing strong soft skills. 3-5 years of professional experience in offshore wind operations, with a solid understanding of wind turbine operations. Certifications in GWO (Global Wind Organisation) Basic Safety Training and an Offshore Medical Fitness Certificate. Core Responsibilities

Requirements

Applicants need a bachelor’s or HBO degree, or equivalent professional experience, in a relevant technical, marine, or business discipline, plus 3–5 years of offshore wind operations experience. They should have team leadership or coordination experience in a high-risk offshore environment, GWO Basic Safety Training, an Offshore Medical Fitness Certificate, and strong communication, crisis-management, and decision-making skills.
