Job Description

VSS Services & Support / MRO – Strategy and Business Efficiency For our EMEA Headquarters in Amsterdam, we are currently seeking to recruit an Authorized Service Center Officer. Authorized Service Center Officer PURPOSE OF THE ROLE Develop and manage Authorized Service Center (ASC) partnerships across the EMEA region to ensure reliable MRO support that fulfils customer needs and aligns with the regional MRO strategy. The role defines and executes strategies for ASC network improvement and business development across Executive, Commercial and Defense Aviation, optimizing existing suppliers, closing regional support gaps and ensuring compliance with Embraer requirements. MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES Foster close working relationships with MRO partners; benchmark, develop and improve the aircraft maintenance capability of the ASC network. Lead and coordinate the integration of ASCs with Embraer departments and provide training on Embraer processes, policies and procedures as required. Ensure compliance with Due Diligence and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements and keep ASC account information current in Salesforce. Manage credit-limit requests and renewals, coordinate the resolution of breaches and order holds, support recovery of overdue payments, and liaise on accounts-payable requests. Support supplier bidding processes and maintain strong knowledge of regional aviation regulations, Civil Aviation Authority requirements, MRO capabilities and market conditions. Collaborate with Customer Relationship Management and Sales & Marketing teams, providing regional MRO support information and supporting medium- and high-complexity aircraft sales campaigns. Manage MRO expectations and help resolve operational issues in line with contractual terms and Embraer’s business interests. Represent Embraer at relevant global industry events and support ASC regional conferences when required. Influence ASCs strategically to strengthen operational readiness, including acquisition of Embraer spare parts, ground support equipment and tooling. Lead contract negotiations and draft, review and administer NDAs, MOUs, ASC agreements, amendments and renewals. Ensure contract terms comply with internal policies, legal requirements and aviation regulations; coordinate internal inputs and track milestones, obligations, expiry dates and renewals. Plan and prioritize the annual regional audit schedule; lead periodic compliance and authorization audits and assess alignment with applicable aerospace Quality Management System standards. Prepare clear audit reports, agree and track corrective actions, monitor timely closure, and maintain knowledge of QMS standards and audit methodologies. Define and manage strategies for ASC network improvement and business development across Executive, Commercial and Defense Aviation. Identify suitable and qualified MRO providers through market research and analysis and leverage MRO capabilities to enhance component repair and overhaul support. Support the growth of Embraer-owned service centers and the Executive Care Program by negotiating man-hour rates, optimizing the network footprint and identifying commercial synergies. Support the Global MRO Partnership Manager in deploying the global MRO vision and promote, protect and maintain Embraer’s brand, image and values. PROFILE OF THE SUITABLE CANDIDATE Diploma or degree in Engineering, Administration, Science, Law or Business. More than 10 years of relevant aviation MRO or sales/customer-service experience gained in the aviation or aeronautical industry. Knowledge of Embraer aircraft products is required. Regional experience in general management, engineering, strategic planning, customer services and support, quality, or contract negotiations is advantageous. Solid knowledge of aircraft maintenance, client support, service-quality techniques, MRO partner capabilities, market conditions in EMEA, aviation regulations and CAA requirements. Strong negotiation, contract-administration and organizational skills. Analytical, proactive and able to make sound decisions and solve problems effectively. Strong data-management and operational-report writing skills. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills. Fluent written and spoken English; Portuguese is a strong asset. Expert user of Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project, as well as relevant corporate or industry software. Eligible to live and work in the EU.

Core Responsibilities

Develop and manage the EMEA Authorized Service Center network, improving MRO capabilities, business development, operational readiness, and customer support across Executive, Commercial, and Defense Aviation. Lead partner integration, compliance and quality audits, contract administration, supplier and credit matters, and coordination with internal teams and regional stakeholders.

Requirements

Requires a diploma or degree in Engineering, Administration, Science, Law, or Business, more than 10 years of relevant aviation MRO or sales/customer-service experience, and knowledge of Embraer aircraft products. Candidates should bring strong aircraft maintenance, regulatory, negotiation, contract, analytical, organizational, communication, and reporting skills; English fluency and EU work eligibility are required, while Portuguese is an asset.
