Doel van de functie De plaatsvervangend teamleider Productie is verantwoordelijk voor het waarnemen van de productieleider bij productie- en magazijnactiviteiten, het afhandelen van alle productieadministratie en magazijntransacties, en het bijhouden van een nauwkeurige voorraad. Verwachte werkzaamheden Magazijn- en voorraadbeheer Voer alle magazijnwerkzaamheden uit, waaronder ontvangst, opslag, orderverzameling en verzending, en zorg voor nauwkeurige voorraadregistratie en voorraadbeheer. Productieadministratie Voer alle productie- en voorraadgerelateerde transacties uit in ons ERP-systeem. Verantwoordelijk voor het opstellen van documentatie voor en na de productie, waaronder recepten en etiketten enz. Productie Ondersteun het productieteam waar nodig en voer zowel natte als poedermengproductieactiviteiten uit. Houd dagelijks toezicht op het productieteam om ervoor te zorgen dat de planning volgens schema verloopt, zodat het team de productie kan voortzetten terwijl eventuele problemen worden opgelost. Productieleiderschap Fungeren als plaatsvervanger van de productieleider om de dagelijkse productieactiviteiten te leiden en ervoor te zorgen dat productiedoelstellingen, kwaliteitsnormen en veiligheidsvoorschriften consequent worden nageleefd. Het team leiden, coachen en ontwikkelen, waarbij betrokkenheid, verantwoordelijkheid en continue verbetering worden gestimuleerd.Gezondheid, veiligheid en naleving Zorg ervoor dat GMP-, HACCP-, Lean- en voedselveiligheidsnormen strikt worden nageleefd. Bevorder een cultuur van veilige werkpraktijken binnen het hele team. Samenwerking met belanghebbenden Samenwerken met de teams van Supply Chain, Klantenservice, Planning en Kwaliteit om ervoor te zorgen dat de operationele activiteiten de doelstellingen van de klantenservice en de zakelijke prioriteiten ondersteunen. Purpose of Role The Deputy Team Leader Production will be responsible for deputising for production lead for production and warehouse operations along with completing all production administration, warehouse transactions and maintaining accurate inventory. This role ensures production performance to plan, accurate inventory control and efficient, safe operations. The Deputy Team Leader Production will support a team of around 4 Operators and work closely with Supply Chain, Quality, Planning and Customer Service teams to maintain high standards of operational excellence. Expected Activities Warehouse and inventory management Complete all warehouse operations, including receipt, storage, picking, and dispatch, ensuring accurate inventory records and stock control. Production Administration Complete all production and inventory related transactions in our ERP system. Responsible for preparation of pre and post production documentation including recipes and labels etc. Production Support production team when necessary, completing both wet and powder blending production activities. Provide daily oversight of production team to ensure schedule is being completed to plan allowing team to continue production whilst resolving challenges. Production leadership Deputise for production lead to Manage day-to-day production operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards and safety compliance are consistently met. Lead, coach and develop the team, fostering engagement, accountability and continuous improvement.Health, safety and compliance Ensure strict adherence to GMP, HACCP, Lean and food safety standards. Promote a culture of safe working practices across the team. Stakeholder collaboration Work with Supply Chain, Customer Service, Planning and Quality teams to ensure operational activities support customer service objectives and business priorities. Cross-site collaboration Liaise with Production Team at the Cardiff site to drive continuous improvement, share best practices, and align operational excellence activities. Continuous improvement Identify and implement process improvements to optimize production efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall operational performance.
