THE POSITION We are looking for a hands-on Senior Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) Consultant to join an expanding European cybersecurity team delivering complex identity governance projects across enterprise, government, and academic environments. Driven by digital sovereignty initiatives, compliance requirements, and regulatory frameworks such as NIS2, our projects cover a wide spectrum of modern IGA platforms—including MidPoint, SailPoint, Omada, and One Identity. This is a highly technical, client-facing role combining deep hands-on ownership with consultative expertise. You will lead end-to-end IGA implementations, from technical architecture and lifecycle workflow design to connector development and integration within complex enterprise landscapes. RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the end-to-end technical lifecycle (setup, configuration, customization, integration, testing, and go-live) of enterprise IGA platforms. Build and optimize end-to-end Joiner / Mover / Leaver (JML) processes, automated provisioning, and workflow approvals. Implement access request workflows, access reviews/recertifications, Segregation of Duties (SoD) policies, and role-based access control (RBAC). Integrate IGA platforms with core systems including Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), LDAP, HR systems, REST APIs, databases, and cloud services. Build custom connectors, scripts, policies, and automated workflows tailored to complex client specifications. Lead client-facing workshops, translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, and troubleshoot complex production environments. Support compliance-driven IAM initiatives aligned with frameworks like NIS2 and European digital sovereignty standards. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: Proven hands-on experience as a Senior IGA / IAM Consultant, Engineer, or Technical Architect. Solid, hands-on experience with at least one major IGA platform (MidPoint, SailPoint, Omada, or One Identity). Experience with open-source IGA is highly valued. Deep understanding of identity lifecycle management, roles and entitlements, SoD matrices, access governance, and recertification workflows. Demonstrated background integrating IAM platforms with Active Directory, Entra ID, LDAP directories, enterprise HR systems, REST APIs, and SQL/NoSQL databases. Strong proficiency in scripting and programming (e.g., Java, Groovy, PowerShell, XML/JSON, REST APIs). Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written). Requirements

Candidates should have senior-level hands-on IGA or IAM consulting, engineering, or architecture experience and practical expertise with at least one major IGA platform. They should understand identity lifecycle management and access governance, have integration and scripting/programming experience, and be fluent in Dutch and English.
