Job Description

THE POSITION As Workforce Administration Specialist, you are responsible for reviewing and processing working hours and employment related data for employees working across our international projects and fleet operations. You work closely together with colleagues within HR, Payroll, Global Mobility, Fiscal Affairs and project teams to ensure all payroll related processes are carried out accurately, on time and in compliance with regulations. Within this role, there is a strong focus on assessing international tax related matters and employment conditions for employees working abroad. This includes foreign allowances, fiscal assessments and local tax obligations. In addition, you play an important role in processing and validating data across multiple systems such as GRIP, Workday, the pre payroll tool and AFAS. Since these systems communicate through interfaces, system knowledge and understanding of process flows are essential. YOUR WORKPLACE You will join an international HR environment where Payroll, Global Mobility and project operations come together. Together with a close knit team of specialists, you support employees working across the globe on complex dredging, offshore and infrastructure projects. In this dynamic environment, collaboration, accuracy and continuous improvement are key. YOUR IMPACT You ensure that thousands of employees worldwide are correctly processed within the Dutch payroll. This includes both staff employees and crew members working on board our vessels. You analyse complex payroll and tax related matters and ensure data is accurately processed across different systems. At the same time, you safeguard data quality and actively contribute to process improvements. In addition, you Align fiscal assessments with Global Mobility, Fiscal Affairs and project controllers Ensure accurate processing of international assignments and related employment conditions Work with multiple payroll and HR systems where accuracy and process understanding are essential Contribute to the further professionalisation of the team and collaboration within the HR domain Identify bottlenecks at an early stage to help payroll processes become more efficient and effective Through your work, colleagues around the world can rely on accurate and timely salary payments. About You You are accurate, analytical and able to maintain overview within complex processes. You easily connect with different stakeholders and feel comfortable working in an international and dynamic environment. In addition, you Have several years of experience in payroll administration and/or knowledge of tax legislation Have affinity with international payroll challenges and workforce mobility Have experience with or knowledge of systems such as GRIP, Workday, pre payroll tools and AFAS Understand how systems and interfaces work together within payroll processes Work in a structured way and are strong in analysing data and processes Have strong communication skills and enjoy collaborating with different departments Have a good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written WE OFFER You will join an international and entrepreneurial environment where you work on complex payroll and mobility challenges with direct impact on our global operations. Core Responsibilities

Review and process working hours and employment data for international employees, ensuring accurate and timely Dutch payroll processing and compliance with tax and employment requirements. Coordinate fiscal assessments with relevant teams, validate data across HR and payroll systems, maintain data quality, and identify opportunities to improve processes.

Requirements

Several years of payroll administration experience and/or knowledge of tax legislation are requested, along with an interest in international payroll and workforce mobility. Candidates should understand payroll systems and interfaces, work accurately and analytically, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and be proficient in spoken and written Dutch and English.
