About the Role: Are you passionate about supporting aspiring newcomers and entrepreneurs? Join us as a Program Coordinator Intern and play a vital role in shaping the success stories of budding entrepreneurs. This internship offers an incredible opportunity to grow your professional network. You will be at the forefront of our incubator program, where you’ll meet and coordinate 30+ business coaches, 60+ university students, and 30 newcomer founders. Your contributions will directly impact the program dynamics and the business progress of newcomers. We seek a solution-oriented, flexible team player who does not fear challenges and is comfortable dealing with people from different backgrounds. Your focus will be on implementing the incubator curriculum and monitoring entrepreneurs’ teams. You’ll work closely with the stakeholders and experts involved in the program, especially the university students volunteering their time to support an entrepreneur’s business. About the Organisation: Forward·Inc is a Netherlands-based, internationally operating organisation devoted to helping newcomers pursue their entrepreneurial ambitions. We do this by empowering them to launch, grow, fund, and sustain their own businesses. Job Type: Program Coordinator Intern (40h/w) Time period: Start date - 22 October 2026. Duration: 8 months Language: English required. For non-EU nationals: permission to work in the Netherlands or enrollment at a university is required. EU nationals already living in the Netherlands, we cannot support with relocation efforts. Responsibilities of the Role: Volunteers Coordination Recruit and manage student volunteers to support entrepreneurs in the Incubator Program, from interviews to onboarding and tracking. Coordinate a matching framework based on student skills and entrepreneurs' needs. Schedule regular check-ins with all participants to ensure effective deliverables and make necessary adjustments. Motivate volunteers and promote accountability. Program Planning and Support Complete progress reports to track entrepreneurs' milestones using Monday.com. Monitor all participants for timely data collection and task execution. Assist in planning and executing online and offline events; facilitation skills are a plus. Document program operations. Commitments: You have a strong conviction to empower entrepreneurs to build and grow their businesses. You empathise with entrepreneurs who do so without connections and startup capital and who come from a different cultural background. You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and work alongside entrepreneurs. You go beyond giving advice and provide practical support; You are an all-rounder and able to support Forward·Inc in its vision, mission and objectives. Must-have requirements: Full working proficiency required (written & spoken) in English You have a completed BSc or MSc degree in business or entrepreneurship or a demonstrable interest in entrepreneurship. You are a good communicator who gains energy from networking and meeting people. You are tech-savvy and proficient in using Canva and G-suite (experience with Slack and Monday.com is a plus). You have a proactive, entrepreneurial, results-oriented attitude with an ability to work effectively in a fast-paced organisation; You are flexible and can deal well with a lot of uncertainty. You have a solution-focused mentality. Remuneration: we provide an internship compensation of 500 EUR for BSc graduates and 750 EUR for MSc graduates, based on 5 days per week. Travel and other business-related expenses are fully covered. Location: Amsterdam or Rotterdam. We work 2 days a week at the office (Monday AMS & Thursday RTM) and 3 days remotely. You need to live within one hour travel distance of 1 of the office locations.
Core Responsibilities
Recruit, onboard, match, and coordinate student volunteers supporting newcomer entrepreneurs, and maintain regular check-ins to encourage accountability and effective delivery. Track entrepreneurs’ milestones and participant tasks, document program operations, and help plan and deliver online and in-person events.
Requirements
Applicants must be proficient in written and spoken English, have a completed BSc or MSc in business or entrepreneurship or a demonstrable interest in entrepreneurship, and be authorized to work in the Netherlands. The role also requires strong communication and networking abilities, proficiency with Canva and Google Workspace, and a proactive, flexible, solution-focused approach to working with diverse people in a fast-paced environment.
