Your role in our team As Director Consulting Services (DCS) you are the pivot in the services of CGI. You are a consulting professional with Business & IT services experience and together with your team of +/- 15 colleagues you make the difference in assignments for your customer. In addition to your own billable assignment (roughly 50% of your time), you fulfill a multifaceted role covering business development, employee (partner) management and service delivery to our clients. Prime responsibilities will be driving innovation and growth, and mentoring and developing a high-performing team. You see opportunities and know how to deliver value to your clients, by leveraging the best of CGI’s broad and international portfolio of services, proprietary solutions and external partnerships with leading technology providers. You drive continuous improvement in your team; involving them in the development of new services for your customers, recruitment of new talent, and professional growth. Together with your Vice President Consulting Services (whom you report to) and the DCS colleagues within the unit, you contribute to the growth of the unit and of the Banking sector. How you strengthen our team As a DCS you are expected to be able to combine strong management qualities with your own professional knowledge. You have knowledge and experience of business & IT developments within the Banking sector. You have excellent communication skills and with a strong persuasiveness you can easily win others over to your ideas. A completed HBO or WO education; At least 8 years’ work experience in business development and delivery positions in business and IT solutions; Deep understanding of one or more specific banking domains is essential (eg. Payments, lending, vendor finance, compliance, risk & finance etc.); High-quality network in banking; The talent and drive to achieve successful results with a team of highly skilled consultants, as well as attract and develop the talent; Fluency in Dutch and English languages. Core Responsibilities

Lead a team of approximately 15 consultants while balancing a billable client assignment with business development, employee management, and service delivery. Drive growth and innovation in the banking sector, develop client relationships and services, and mentor and recruit talent.

Requirements

Requires a completed higher professional or university education, at least eight years of experience in business development and delivery roles involving business and IT solutions, and deep expertise in one or more banking domains. Candidates should have a strong banking network, proven team leadership and talent-development abilities, and fluency in Dutch and English.
