Netherlands, Oss Associate Director, Business Development, ADC Licensing Location: Oss - Remote The Associate Director, Business Development ADC Licensing is responsible for driving out-licensing and partnering activities for Lonza’s ADC technology platform. The role combines strategic business development, market analysis, and hands-on deal execution, including outreach, negotiations, due diligence, and contract finalization. The full-time annual base pay for this position in The Netherlands is expected to range between 95.250,- EUR and 133.350,- EUR. Initial salary placement within this range will be determined based on role‑related factors such as experience, qualifications, and expected contribution. What You Will Do Identify, develop, and execute new partnering and out-licensing opportunities, including preparation and negotiation of term sheets, quantitative analyses, contract negotiations, and execution of definitive agreements. Plan and execute comprehensive partnering outreach campaigns and actively manage and track the global business development pipeline. Build, maintain, and further develop trusted relationships with new and existing partners through effective communication and cultural awareness. Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and relevant companies and therapeutic areas to inform business development strategy. Present and pitch Lonza Oss technology platforms to prospective partners and collaborators. Collaborate closely with the Head of Commercial Development (ADS Licensing) and senior site and business leadership in the development and execution of business development plans, negotiations, and due diligence activities. What We Are Looking For Master’s degree in the field of Life Sciences or equivalent 7 - 10 years relevant work experience (Life Science, CDMO, Biotech, Pharma) Ability to navigate complex licensing discussions and technical information. Strong relationship building skills and commercial acumen. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical capabilities (qualitative & quantitative). Ability to influence stakeholders thoughtfully using logic and supporting data. Ability to represent ADS Licensing credibly with senior external stakeholders. Comfort working autonomously and cross functionally. Ability to travel globally for partner meetings and internal alignment. Valid passport required for business travel. Requirements

Requires a master’s degree in Life Sciences or equivalent and 7–10 years of relevant experience in life sciences, CDMO, biotech, or pharma. Candidates should bring licensing and technical fluency, strong commercial and analytical capabilities, relationship-building and communication skills, cross-functional autonomy, and willingness to travel globally with a valid passport.
