AI4ALL is looking for a connected and community-minded Rotterdam Meetup Manager to lead our local meetup initiative and grow a vibrant AI4ALL presence in the city. In this role, you will organise and host bimonthly events, bring together local voices in AI, and build the partnerships that keep the community growing. This is a role for someone who enjoys bringing people together, knows how to find the right speakers, and wants to help shape responsible AI conversations at the local level. About AI4ALL AI4ALL is a nonprofit do-tank founded in the Netherlands in 2024. We bridge the knowledge gap between society and AI by providing continuous education, building confidence, and amplifying diverse leadership. Through masterclasses, mentorship, community events, and flagship programs, we help people not only understand AI, but actively shape how it evolves — ensuring the technology develops responsibly and represents everyone. About the Role As Rotterdam Meetup Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of bimonthly AI4ALL meetups in Rotterdam. You will create engaging events, connect local AI professionals and partners, and build a sustainable community presence in the city. AI4ALL meetups are ticketed with a small attendance fee — a reflection of our commitment to sustainable, cost-covering programming. That means your ability to curate strong topics and speakers that people actually want to show up for matters. You Will: Organise and host bimonthly AI4ALL meetups in Rotterdam Source and coordinate relevant speakers for each session Build relationships with local AI professionals, startups, universities, and ecosystem partners Develop and maintain partnerships that support community growth and event quality Collaborate with the Meetup team and AI4ALL marketing to promote events and drive attendance Help shape programming that reflects the interests and needs of Rotterdam's AI community Who You Are You're someone who is motivated, organised, and passionate about responsible, inclusive AI. You likely have: A base in Rotterdam and an existing network in the local tech or innovation scene Experience organising events or community gatherings Confidence reaching out to speakers and building partnerships independently Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage logistics without a lot of hand-holding Fluency in English (Dutch a plus for local outreach) A genuine interest in AI and responsible technology Nice to Have Community management experience Content or programming experience Familiarity with AI trends and the Rotterdam or broader Dutch tech ecosystem Location requirement: applicants must be based in the Netherlands, ideally in proximity of Rotterdam, and required to attend in-person program events when needed. Core Responsibilities

Organize and host bimonthly AI4ALL meetups in Rotterdam, including sourcing speakers, coordinating logistics, and shaping programming for the local AI community. Build partnerships with local professionals and organizations, and collaborate with the Meetup team and marketing to promote events and grow attendance.

Requirements

Applicants must be based in the Netherlands, ideally near Rotterdam, and able to attend in-person events when needed. The role calls for event-organizing experience, a local tech or innovation network, confidence coordinating speakers and partnerships, strong organizational skills, fluency in English, and an interest in responsible AI; Dutch is a plus.
