Job Purpose And Impact Are you an experienced commercial professional who knows the DACH food ingredients market and enjoys turning distributor relationships into sustainable growth? Join Cargill as Senior Account Manager – DACH Distribution and take a key role in developing our distributor business across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In this role, you will help sell a variety of complex company products, services and solutions across multiple lines of business for an assigned group of our existing clients and participate in building sales plans and diversification strategies to protect and grow the relationship with our distribution partners. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys autonomy, complex B2B sales and building long-term partnerships within an international food ingredients environment. Key Accountabilities Help identify and lead interactions with the assigned distribution partners and customers to resolve sales opportunities. Participate in resolving problems and ensuring our distribution partners receives high-quality service. With minimal mentorship, develop client retention and growth plans and strategies for developing profitable business with assigned accounts. Review and report on distributor / customer retention, business opportunities and market trends. Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff. Other duties as assigned. Travel: Approximately 40-50% in Europe. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications 5+ years' experience in strategic B2B sales, key account management or business development, ideally within food ingredients, food & beverage, pharma health nutrition or a related industry. Strong understanding of the DACH market and distributor-led sales environments. Proven ability to develop accounts and identify new commercial opportunities. Strong stakeholder management and negotiation capabilities. Fluent German and English, both written and spoken. Willingness to travel regularly across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Valid driving license. Experience with CRM and SAP or other commercial tolls is nice to have. Core Responsibilities

Manage and grow assigned distributor accounts across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, developing retention and growth plans and identifying profitable commercial opportunities. Resolve sales and service issues, report on account performance and market trends, and support sales plans and diversification strategies.

Requirements

Requires at least five years of strategic B2B sales, key account management, or business development experience, ideally in food ingredients or a related industry, along with strong DACH market and distributor-sales knowledge. Candidates must be fluent in German and English, have strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills, hold a valid driving license, and be willing to travel regularly across the DACH region.
