Als Senior Platform Engineer werk je aan de ontwikkeling en het beheer van meerdere moderne platformen, Je werkt in een team dat bouwt aan cloud-native platformen op Azure, private cloud-omgevingen en toekomstige data-platformen. Daarbij zoeken we geen specialist die slechts één technologie beheerst, maar een sterke engineer die complexe vraagstukken over infrastructuur, containers, cloud en automatisering weet samen te brengen.
Je werkt nauw samen met zowel Schuberg Philis-collega's als engineers van de klant om betrouwbare, veilige en toekomstbestendige platformen te bouwen.
De verantwoordelijkheden kunnen variëren afhankelijk van het project en de focus van het team, maar kunnen onder andere omvatten:
- Ontwerpen, bouwen, beheren en optimaliseren van Kubernetes-platformen in productieomgevingen.
- Implementeren en verbeteren van cloud-native oplossingen binnen Azure, private cloud- en hybride omgevingen.
- Beheren van de volledige lifecycle van Kubernetes-clusters, waaronder upgrades, scaling, security en platformverbeteringen.
- Ontwikkelen en onderhouden van automatiseringsoplossingen met Infrastructure as Code en GitOps-principes.
- Verbeteren van observability, monitoring, logging en alerting om de betrouwbaarheid van mission-critical platformen te waarborgen.
- Samenwerken met engineeringteams aan nieuwe platforminitiatieven, waaronder dataplatformen en data-collectieoplossingen.
- Oplossen van complexe infrastructuur- en platformvraagstukken binnen een breed technologisch landschap.
- Actief bijdragen aan de continue verbetering van architectuur, processen en engineering standaarden.
Wat je meebrengt
- Minimaal 3 jaar hands-on ervaring met Kubernetes in productieomgevingen.
- Ervaring met containerplatformen en cloud-native technologieën.
- Ervaring met één of meerdere cloudplatformen zoals Azure, AWS of Google Cloud.
- Een sterke achtergrond in Linux, infrastructuur en open source technologieën.
- Ervaring met Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD en automatisering.
- Je begrijpt hoe missie-kritische systemen ontworpen, beheerd en geoptimaliseerd moeten worden.
- Je bent een pragmatische engineer die nieuwe technologie snel eigen maakt en complexe problemen gestructureerd oplost.
- Goede communicatieve vaardigheden in het Nederlands.
Nice to have
- Ervaring met Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Amazon EKS of vergelijkbare managed Kubernetes-platformen.
- Ervaring met VMware, private cloud of traditionele infrastructuurplatformen.
- Kennis van observability-oplossingen zoals Grafana, Prometheus of Datadog.
- Programmeer- of scriptingervaring met Python, Go of Bash.
- Ervaring met data-platformen, AI/ML-platformen of datacollectie-oplossingen.

Core Responsibilities
You will design, build, and manage mission-critical Kubernetes platforms within Azure and hybrid cloud environments. Additionally, you will develop automation solutions using GitOps principles and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure system reliability and scalability.
Requirements
Candidates must have at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments and a strong background in Linux and cloud infrastructure. Proficiency in Dutch is mandatory for this role, along with experience in CI/CD and infrastructure automation.
