MCLIU Instructor - Speech Language Pathologists 2027

The School of Communication Sciences & Disorders invites applications from licensed OOAQ Speech-Language Pathologists to provide services at various locations throughout Montreal and the surrounding regions during the Winter and Summer 2027 semesters.


The incumbent is expected to provide Clinical Education to Speech Language Pathology students on rotation at the location and may expand to patients within the hospital/clinic/school they are assigned. One of the sites requires a weekend schedule.


The following responsibilities are some examples of tasks included in the SL-P contract:

  • Provision of clinical duties to patients at the location assigned
  • Intervention 
  • Preparation and administrative duties related to clinical education
  • Provide clinical education for up to two Master’s level Speech-Language Pathology Students.
  • Consultation with caregivers and educators
  • Assessment and Intervention planning

Teaching Qualification Requirements:
Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or equivalent, are licensed with the OOAQ (Ordre des Orthophonistes et Audiologistes du Quebec) and have two years of work experience as a speech-language pathologist.

Core Responsibilities

The instructor will provide clinical services to patients at various assigned locations and deliver clinical education to Master's level speech-language pathology students. Responsibilities also include intervention planning, administrative tasks, and consultation with caregivers and educators.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and possess a valid license from the OOAQ. A minimum of two years of professional work experience in the field is required.
